Majority of Oil from Los Angeles Leak Collected

May 15, 2014

Nearly all of the 10,000 gallons of oil that leaked from a Plains West Coast pipeline in Los Angeles, California has been collected by responders, a fire department official said on Thursday.

The spill came from a leaking valve on the pipeline, said Captain Jamie Moore of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
