JFD Wins UK Defense ROV Contract

James Fisher Defence (JFD)  has been awarded a four-year contract to provide Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) support services to the Ministry of Defense’s Salvage and Marine Operations (S&MO) team.

The contract affords S&MO 24-hour, on-demand access to JFD’s Engineering Support Cell for specialist support with ROV maintenance, mobilization, operations, provision of spares and equipment hire services. Technical support, advice and expertise will be provided to S&MO by an Inchinnan-based team of eight personnel including ROV pilots, ROV technicians, subsea engineers, project engineers and project managers.
