According to a report from the Greenbay Press Gazette, on March 23 the Marinette Marine Corp. Small Business Industry Day was held in Wisconson for prospective contractors, offering possible suppliers one-on-one sessions with Marinette Marine Corp. engineers and buyers. Marinette Marine held a similar meeting in Escanaba, Mich. Lockheed Martin recently landed a contract to build up to 10 littoral combat ships for the U.S. Navy at Marinette Marine.
