CDL, winners of the 2013 Subsea Industry Innovation and Technical Award, presented an operational controls product line, the Acoustic Control and Monitoring System (ACAMS) at this year’s SSTB Conference in San Antonio.

CDL’s ACAMS introduces its control and monitoring solution designed for the expanding capping stack and vessel based light well intervention market; its platform answers the challenges of the incumbent blowout preventer (BOP) remote systems that do not cost effectively address the requirements of this market area. With wireless operation in excess of 9,000 fsw (2,743m), ACAMS is offered with both cable and non-cabled power and communications options.
