GL Garrad Hassan Names Business Development Manager

Hamburg - GL Garrad Hassan has appointed a new Business Development Manager in the UK, Ian Finch will be responsible for managing sales and business development activities for the GL Group with a special focus on offshore wind. He will work closely with Christoph Thiel, the newly appointed Head of Business Development and Sales for GL Garrad Hassan and Colin Morgan, who leads the Group's Offshore Wind Practice.

"GL Garrad Hassan has set up a dedicated Offshore Wind Practice to serve the global offshore wind business, giving clients a single entry point to our services to the sector - wherever they are and at whatever stage of development their venture may be,” said Colin Morgan “Ian will provide our clients with invaluable support through the depth of technical understanding he possesses, gained from his engagement with the key issues of the offshore business."

Finch is an experienced sales and business development manager with over twenty years of working experience. After spending several years in different positions in industrial automation, Finch's most recent role was as Business Development Manager for the UK's National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec). With a degree in business studies from Sunderland University, and having studied electronics and computer science at Swansea University, Finch has a comprehensive technical and sales background to draw upon in his new position at GL Garrad Hassan.
