Ocean Signal appointed True Heading, a company with more than 40 years of experience in navigation and AIS (Automatic Identification System), as its dedicated country distributor for Sweden. True Heading has been developing AIS standards and translating them into practical products for several years. True Heading will have key responsibility for increasing sales of Ocean Signal’s SafeSea portfolio, which includes the V100 GMDSS hand-held radio, as well as the E100 and E100G EPIRBS and S100 SART.
The company also distributes Hemisphere GPS and thermal imaging cameras from FLIR.
The new distributor is currently launching Ocean Signal’s new rescueME PLB1 at three different Swedish shows. Following a week at the Gothenburg Boat Show at the beginning of the month, Ocean Signal’s products will next be on display on the True Heading stand at the upcoming Scandinavian Sailboat Show in Gustavsberg Harbour on 16th and 17th February and then the Stockholm International Boat Show from 2nd to 10th March.
