Managing onshore and offshore assets has previously demanded multiple risk-based inspection (RBI) software tools, increasing operator cost and reducing efficiency. With the new release of DNV Software’s Synergi Plant, which has integration with Synergi RBI, operators can use one complete quantitative risk assessment system, moving from subjective to objective decision making and from preventive to predictive maintenance. DNV Software is now launching the new Synergi Plant, bringing RBI software to a new level, where integrity management of process plants and offshore topsides can be achieved by one complete and integrated solution through integration with Synergi RBI Onshore and Synergi RBI Offshore.

Marine operations – such as transportation, installation and lifting of fixed and floating structures and subsea equipment – are becoming increasingly challenging as operators move to harsher climates and deeper waters. DNV Software is now launching Sesam Marine, a software solution that they say keeps pace with the increasing complexity of marine operations with 3D simulation and visualization. “This is the first time that complex analyses of marine operations can be visually experienced through simulation using Sesam Marine software,” said DNV Software Managing Director Are Føllesdal Tjønn. With Sesam Marine software it is possible to manage risk through calculation and visualization of marine operations, taking into account environmental conditions and structural components.

IFS Norway AS and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) have agreed to combine their technology by developing an IT solution for the international maritime market.
