Drew Offers Electronic Steam System Monitoring
A new PC-based software from the Drew Marine Division of Ashland Specialty Chemical Company, monitors steam generating water treatment tests and recommends action for out-of-range results. The software, called Drew Watch Electronic Services, is the first electronic steam system monitoring software in the marine industry. It eliminates hand compilation of paper logs by automatically generating color histograms, and allows data to be sent electronically from the ship to Drew technical centers, as well as to ship management, for in-depth review and further recommendations. A new version of Drew Watch Electronic ServicesTM software with expanded programs is now available from Drew Marine, a business unit of Ashland Specialty Chemical Company.
