Atlas Elektronik Makes Donation to Weldmar

Dr. Antoni Mazur, Managing Director handing over the check for the donation from Atlas Elektronik UK to Sam West, Marketing Manager

Atlas Elektronik UK said in a news release that it matched the sponsorship money raised by team Atlas Angels who undertook the Weldmar Midnight Walk on Saturday, July 20:

The team comprising of Fiona Atkinson, Laura Foden, Diane Hayles, Diane Limm, Alison Stewart and Sam West agreed to undertake the 6.5 middle distance as part of the walk as they understood that for every pound raised by them, Atlas Elektronik UK would match, meaning double for Weldmar. This very worthy cause has extra special meaning for some members of the team, and indeed people from all over Dorset who have been supported by this very worthy charity.

We as a team would like to thank everyone that sponsored us, both in hard copy on our forms, and the very generous people who donated via our just giving page which is still available for donations at angels.

The people that sponsored us included our colleagues, friends, and generous others that just spotted us on the night of the walk. The greatest amounts pledged came from Insideout events, our friends at MAST (Maritime Systems and Technology) Conference and Exhibition and Atlas Elektronik UK so a big thank you for their generosity.

So far the money raised by the team has come in at over £700, the company has already matched this figure. The final total amount raised is still to come as we continue to have pledges coming in.
