Senesco Marine Expansion Continues

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

April 6, 2004

Senesco Marine hired Norman Hodge as Vice President of new construction. Most recently Hodge was General Manager of Conrad's in Orange, Texas. Prior to working for Conrad's he was the Plant Manager at Halter Marine's Gulfport facility in Mississippi. During that time he was in charge of operations at three shipyards with a total of 500 employees. Hodge has been directly involved in the construction of over two thousand barges of various types and design over the years.

At Senesco Marine, Hodge will oversee the construction of all new barges. Last year Senesco Marine launched two 80,000-barrel double-hulled liquid fuel barges. This year the shipyard plans to launch two more 80,000-barrel double-hulled barges along with a 100,000-barrel double-hulled barge. The company is also working on a second 100,000-barrel double-hulled barge for delivery in early 2005.

"Norm Hodge brings years of experience in building barges to Senesco Marine," said Gary Schuler, CEO of Senesco Marine. "With more jobs on the horizon, Norm's expertise in constructing multiple barges simultaneously will be a huge asset to our shipyard."

Besides his recent experience at Halter Marine, Norman Hodge has 3 decades of experience in the marine business, including work at Caruthersville Shipyard in Missouri, Colonna's Shipyard in Norfolk, Virginia, Saint John Shipyard and Drydock in New Brunswick, Canada, and many other shipyards around the United States. Norman Hodge was originally brought on board as a consultant, but within 3 weeks he was offered a full time position. "In order to achieve what I felt was necessary to get the job done, we agreed I needed to come on board to have the authority to see it through," said Hodge. "Also I was very impressed with the operation, from top to bottom this is a first class operation and I think one of the best going right now."
