Havila Lines Up Contracts for Two PSVs

Norway-based Havila Shipping ASA said it has entered into contracts with Peterson Den Helder BV for two of its platform supply vessels (PSV), Havila Borg and Havila Herøy.Havila Borg has been chartered for a fixed period of six months, plus one optional period of 12 months.Havila Herøy has been chartered for a fixed period of a drilling campaign estimated to 90 days, plus one optional period for up to 370 days.Havila Borg has already started its latest contract, and Havila Herøy will start on the new contract on October 18 in direct continuation of work for Peterson.

Havila Shipping, DeepOcean Settle Dispute

Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has settled a dispute with subsea services provider DeepOcean.The dispute, now settled, came to light after Havila in December said it had terminated the contract with DeepOcean for the Havila Phoenix vessel, citing the latter's breach of contract obligations, and seeking payment.The subsea vessel Havila Phoenix has since 2013 served DeepOcean, under a charter with a firm period until May 2023. Havila Shipping Hikes Capital

Havila Shipping has made a stock exchange announcement about expected debt conversion to shares according to subscription rights issued as a part of the restructuring of the company. The Norway-based offshore company announced about sale of vessels. The vessels were delivered to new owner on 9th and 10th November. The company received on 13 November 2017 exercise notices for 60,909,975 subscription rights related to remaining debt after sale of MV “Posh Vibrant” and MV “Posh Virtue”. At the same time the company received exercise notice from Havila Holding AS for subscription of 63,296,375 shares by conversion of part of convertible loan (Anti Dilution Protection Loan).

Havila Shipping Sells AHTS Duo

Norway-based Havila Shipping ASA has entered into agreements for sale of the AHTS vessels Posh Vibrant and Posh Virtue. The vessels are expected delivered to new owner during first part of November. Following the sale it is expected that the lenders and Havila Holding AS will exercise warrants through debt conversions into new shares corresponding to agreements decided by the General Meeting on 4th January 2017. It is expected that number of shares will increase by approximately 124,200,000 up to approximately 1,891,000,000 shares following the sale. The sale will have low impact on result and liquidity. The equity effect of the planned debt conversion was booked in the groups account through the restructuring on the 28th February 2017 and the sale will cause minor equity adjustments.

Statoil Awards ERRV Contracts

Statoil awards Simon Møkster Shipping AS contracts for three emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRV), and Havila Shipping ASA for one ERRV. The contacts have a total value, included options, of NOK 2.7 billion. The vessels will be part of Statoil’s area-wide emergency response on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The emergency response vessels play an important role in addressing government authorities’ and the company’s own requirements for rescue, hospital, fire-fighting, emergency towing and oil spill preparedness. “Statoil has an extensive emergency preparedness system on the NCS, and through the contracts we have secured four vessels that are tailored to our waters.

Havila Extends Niche Deal with Maersk

Havila Shipping ASA has seen Maersk Oil & Gas (MOG) extend an option for a vessel, allowing the company to avoid the weak North Sea spot market for 12 more months. Maersk Oil and Gas Company declared the first of three one year options for the Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) Havila Fortune. The vessel was first contracted by Maersk in May 2014 and started its contract on August 1, 2014. With this first of three extensions declared the vessel will remain with Maersk Oil until August 1, 2016. The contract includes a walk to walk system operated by a supplier. Havila has a fleet of 22 vessels, primarily made up of AHTS and PSVs. Meanwhile, Shell has declared first optional period of one year for the PSV vessel Havila Borg currently working in West Africa.

Havila Vessel Newbuilding Contract

Havila Shipping ASA has entered into a contract with Havyard Leirvik for building of a IRM vessel called Havyard 855. The vessel is developed by Havyard Maritime in close cooperation with Havila Shipping ASA.The vessel has a length of 97,5,4 m, breath of 19,8 m. In order to meet environmental and comfort demands in the future the vessel has; clean design class, catalysers, and DP 2. Delivery of the vessel will be during summer 2010, and the contract price is approx NOK 700 mill, included owner delivery of crane.

Havila and Subsea Sign Contract

Havila Shipping ASA and Phoenix International, Inc. signed a 10-year contract, with additional option years, for the newly built SubSea Construction Vessel, Havyard 858. The vessel is scheduled for delivery from Havyard Leirvik during the summer of 2008, and will support oil and gas industry initiatives in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The contract has been entered into on market terms.

Havila Shipping Orders New PSV

Havila Shipping ASA has entered into a contract with Solstrand Verft for building of a new platform supply vessel (PSV) called Havyard 832 CD. The vessel is developed by Havyard Maritime in close cooperation with Havila Shipping ASA. The vessel has a length of 262 ft. In order to meet environmental and comfort demands in the future the vessel has; clean design class, catalysers, and DP 2. Delivery of the vessel will be during summer 2009.

Havila Sells Eight Recovery Vessels

Havila Shipping ASA has signed a Heads of Agreement with Ocean Mainport Ltd group regarding sale of the UK based rescue recovery operations (RRV). Eight vessels are included in the transaction which will be completed by selling 100% of the shares in Havila Rescue UK Ltd and expected to be closed before yearend. The total transaction value is estimated to be approximately NOK 348 mill, and gives Havila Shipping ASA a total booked profit before tax of approx. NOK 65 mill. The cash effect will be approx. NOK 95 mill. Havila Shipping ASA will grant a secured seller credit of NOK 15 mill. The vessels included in the sale; Havila Sky, Havila Tern, Havila Searcher, Havila Sea, Havila Clever, Havila Sun, Havila Star and Havila Tigris. Handover will take place ultimo November.
