Jeppesen Active at Asia Pacific Maritime 2014

Jeppesen said it will be very active at Asia Pacific Maritime 2014, participating in industry symposiums and highlighting its Fleet Optimization and E-Navigation Solutions during this leading global shipping industry exhibition, scheduled for March 19-21 in Singapore.

Central to Jeppesen’s Asia Pacific Maritime 2014 presence will be a Maritime Exhibitor Forum presentation by Terrence Moore, Jeppesen senior manager, Commercial Marine Sales.On Wednesday, March 19 at 13:00, Moore will present Solutions at Sea — Technologies for Improving Efficiency and Safety, demonstrating to industry attendees how Jeppesen’s integrated technologies can reduce fuel and maintenance costs, enhance vessel safety, and improve on-time arrivals, vessel condition and cargo integrity. Following this presentation, forum attendees and other conference visitors will be invited to a social event in Jeppesen Booth #H-10, where they can relax, enjoy refreshments and ask in-depth questions of Jeppesen technology experts who will be in the stand.

In addition, John Klippen, Jeppesen senior product manager, Commercial Marine & HydroService, will take part in a special panel discussion on Maritime Communication & Technology, Thursday, March 20 from 2-3:30 p.m. This discussion will bring togetheran esteemed panel of experts to inform and educate attendees on the latest developments in communications and information technology. Klippen will specifically be speaking about MONALISA2.0, developed to deliver dynamic information exchange and bring about safer and more efficient shipping. Jeppesen is a key partner in MONALISA2.0. Klippen, based in Jeppesen’s Norway office, will be joined on this panel by leaders in related areas of the maritime field from around the globe.
