Gazprom Oil Touch 100mln Barrels at Badra

Russian oil producer Gazprom Neft said that its subsidiary Gazpromneft-Badra has now produced 13.5 million tonnes — or 100 million barrels — of oil in Iraqi oil field.Cumulative production at the Badra field in the five years since this asset went into commercial operation has reached 100 million barrels — the first shipment of liquid hydrocarbons having taken place in 2014. Oil production at the field stands at more than 1.8 million tonnes (13.5 million barrels) since the start of 2019.Twenty-two operating wells, each running to an average depth of 4,500 meters, have been drilled by Gazpromneft-Badra since discovering this asset. Tauck to Double Small Ship Cruising Capacity

Tauck announced a four-year plan for doubling its small ship cruising capacity through strategic fleet expansion, deepened partnership programs and new itineraries. “We’re destination explorers at Tauck and some destinations are best explored by both land and sea,” said Jennifer Tombaugh, president of Tauck. “Tauck Small Ship Cruising is our first product line to sell out each year. Ponant, the French-owned cruise line, will debut four new luxury expedition yachts in 2018 and 2019. As part of an expanded partnership, Tauck will leverage all four Ponant new builds starting with Le Lapérouse in summer 2018. The first Tauck sailing on Le Lapérouse departs on July 3, 2018 with the “Iceland: Land of Fire & Ice” itinerary.

Keppel Delivers FPSO

Keppel Shipyard Ltd (Keppel Shipyard) has completed the upgrade and modification of FPSO Armada Perkasa for repeat customer Bumi Armada. A ceremony was held for the sail–away of the vessel for its deployment in the Okoro Setu Fields, Nigeria. Gracing the occasion was Mr Olatunde Emmanuel Odusina, Minister of State for Energy (Gas), Nigeria. Keppel Shipyard’s affiliation with Bumi Armada goes back into the last decade when it first converted the FPSO Armada Perkasa in 1997 for operation in the PM3 field, Malaysia. The vessel subsequently returned for refurbishment, life extension and repair prior to its current upgrade. This upgrade includes installation of additional field equipment and modification of FPSO and shipboard systems.

Climax Portable Machine Tools Expands Facilities

Climax Portable Machine Tools, Inc., announced the expansion of its two headquarter facilities in Oregon and Düren, Germany.
