Sunstream Releases Next Generation Boat Lift
Sunstream Boat Lifts has released the Sunstream V-Lift, the newest addition to its range of marina- friendly lifts. leak-resistant solution for most sport, ski, pontoon and fishing boats. The V-Lift employs a quad-blower and electric valve system to launch a vessel in 75 seconds and lift it in two minutes, simply by pressing up or down buttons on its keychain-sized remote control. The lightweight solution operates in as little as three feet of water and is the first free-floating boatlift to fit into a 10-foot-wide (or larger) slip. The lift can also be side tied. Complementing Sunstream’s signature ‘dockwith-ease’ design, the new lift provides automatic centering and secure drive-on support.
Lifting the Call For Tightened Security
Keeping small response boats operating at top speed and ready for action is a key challenge in meeting tightened maritime security rules. The US Coast Guard was the first to incorporate hydraulic boat lift technology into their operations. By combining high-speed hydraulics with remote control and stable platforms, the FloatLift by Sunstream has the boat ready to go by the time the crew can run out the dock. Not only does this meet the Coast Guard’s need for fast response, immediate access to the hull and drive reduces the overall cost of maintaining their fleet. Sunstream Corp. to Supply Lifts for Navy
A Seattle-based manufacturer of hydraulic pleasure boat lifts recently won a $1.7m U.S. Navy contract, through a combination of political pull and the company’s own new technologies. Sunstream Corp. plans to supply 40 of its hydraulic lifts to the Navy for its fast-growing fleet of quick-response boats under 30 ft.
