GAC Pindar has been appointed official logistics provider for the inaugural Foiling Week event, to take place on Lake Garda, Italy from July 4 – 10.

Foiling Week is a new event dedicated to foiling (‘flying’) boats, their designers, builders and athletes. Three events will run during the course of the week, The Moth National Open Championship, the TFW Core Event with forums, races and on water tests, and the final Full Foiling Catamaran Race.

GAC Pindar currently provides logistics support for a range of inshore and offshore sailing campaigns and events, and will oversee the global transportation for boats competing in the event, including the British foiler, C-FLY.

GAC Pindar Principal Andrew Pindar says: “We are keen to support sailing wherever we can, and as a result our involvement within the sailing world continues to expand. We are pleased to add Foiling Week to our ever increasing list of marine clients.”

Founder and CEO of Foiling Week Luca Rizzotti adds: “We are thrilled to have the support of leading logistics provider GAC Pindar, as it is a company we know and trust. We are confident our first Foiling Week will be a success and the event will continue to grow, and we look forward to working with GAC Pindar in the future.”
