Agent-Operator Collaboration Brought into Veslink

Veson Nautical announced the release of the Veslink Agent Portal, a new feature of Veslink, Veson Nautical’s online service that streamlines the collection and distribution of mission-critical maritime data. The Veslink Agent Portal enables port agents to submit Statements of Facts and Port Disbursements against nominated port calls. These standardized forms flow directly into Veslink for approval by voyage operators, and can then be imported into the Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) to drive further workflows.

American Cruise Lines – Online Travel Agent Training & Certification Program

American Cruise Lines announce plans for an upcoming travel agent portal, the first of many new features to be added to the company’s new website. ▪ Promotional/Marketing Tools – Letterhead shells, email blast archive, product PDFs, etc. “We highly value our travel agent partners and continuously aim to provide them with the best resources possible,” said Susan Shultz, Director of Sales for American Cruise Lines. “Dedicated entirely to agents, the new portal will allow them to both master and promote our products in a way that will maximize their selling ability.” Agents working with American Cruise Lines can typically earn between $1,000 and $2,300 per booking, depending on the selected stateroom and itinerary.

New Veslink Premium OnBoard and Agent Portal

At The Posidonia 2010 International Shipping Exhibition, Veson Nautical, provider of Maritime Enterprise Resource Planning (Maritime-ERP) solutions and services, announced two modules for its automated communication service: Veslink Premium OnBoard and Veslink Agent Portal. These two Veslink additions offer shippers, vessel personnel, office staff and port agents a configurable web-based service for collecting and exchanging data vital to successful shipping operations. Veslink Premium OnBoard enables two-way communication between the vessel and onshore office for the collection of vessel reports including position/noon, port activity, departure, and custom reports.
