Aker Capital Takes Larger Stake in Solstad Offshore
Aker Capital AS has acquired 8,240,000 shares in Solstad Offshore ASA, at an average price of NOK 48.45 per share.Following the transaction, Aker Capital holds 27,089,493 shares in the company, corresponding to an ownership interest of approximately 32.9%.Aker Capital AS is 100% owned by Aker ASA and represented on the board of the company by Frank Ove Reite. Frank Ove Reite also owns 356,509 shares in the company, through Fausken Invest AS.In its Q3 market update, Solstad was positive about demand for offshore services, both from oil and gas and renewables.
Aker BioMarine to Raise $225M Before Listing

Aker ASA Equity Holdings Restructured
Aker ASA has on 30 September 2015 transferred its equity holdings in Converto Capital Fund AS to Aker Capital AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aker. As per 30 September 2015, Converto Capital Fund AS directly held 7,237,631 of the issued shares and votes in Aker Philadelphia Shipyard ASA, or 57.56 per cent of the share capital.

Aker Solutions 3Q Results
Aker decided to change the set-up of the two business and Products & Technologies to reinforce its deepwater position. The changes involve an integration of Aker Marine Contractors and our Well Service and Geo business units into the Subsea business area. In combination with our ownership and cooperation with Aker Oilfield Services, the new structure will also leverage Aker’swell intervention services offering. Until now these business units have been part of the Products & Technologies business area. In addition the drilling riser business will be transferred from Subsea to the Products & Technologies business area. On 22 August Aker Solutions ASA acquired an additional 30 percent of the shares in Aker Marine Contractors from for USD 80.30 million.
Aker Yards Wins Order for Vessels at New Yard in Vietnam
Aker Yards has entered into a contract with Aker Capital for building of six Anchor Handling Supply Vessels at Aker Yards new shipyard in Vietnam. The vessels are Anchor Handling Supply Vessels, based on the Aker Yards design AH 08. The first delivery is scheduled in 2010, and the sixth in 2012, final delivery date to be confirmed and adjusted according to the construction of the new shipyard in Vietnam. There is also agreed an option with the potential to build another six vessels. Environmentally friendly technology with focus on low fuel consumption and meeting the Clean Design standard are key characteristics. The vessels will have a bollard pull in excess of 145 tons, and will be outfitted with a winch of 350 tons.
