Gazprom, Kogas for Tighter LNG Cooperation

Gazprom to Start Gas Supply to China

Gazprom, Mitsui Discuss LNG Cooperation

Gazprom, Itochu Sign MoU on Baltic LNG

TurkStream Gas Conduit Offshore Section Complete

The pipe-laying vessel  Pioneering Spirit pipelaying vessel completed the construction of the offshore section of the TurkStream gas pipeline in the Black Sea. Gazprom, Mitsui Sign MOU on Baltic LNG Project

Russian energy giant Gazprom and Japanese Mitsui & Co. Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding at the Eastern Economic Forum on the liquefied natural gas plant project Baltic LNG.The memorandum was signed after the meeting between Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and Mitsui Chairman of the Board of Directors Masami Iijima.The parties discussed the ongoing cooperation on the Sakhalin II project and the prospects for collaboration between the companies. Gazprom Extends Gas Contract with Austria’s OMV

Russian gas firm Gazprom has signed a new deal to extend the existing gas supply contract with Austria’s OMV until 2040. Under the existing contract between Gazprom Export and OMV Gas Marketing & Trading, Gazprom agreed to supply gas to OMV until 2028. The document was signed in the presence of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and Sebastian Kurz, Federal Chancellor of Austria, as part of the celebrations marking 50 years of supplies of Russian gas to Austria. “The Agreement signed today is yet another testament to the growing need for gas imports both in Austria and Europe in general – the need that Gazprom is ready to satisfy.

Gazprom, Shell Discuss LNG Projects

A working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Maarten Wetselaar, Member of the Executive Committee of Royal Dutch Shell, took place in St. Petersburg. The meeting addressed relevant aspects of strategic cooperation. Particular attention was paid to joint efforts in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector. The parties discussed the construction project for the third train of the LNG plant on Sakhalin Island and the progress of the Joint Study Framework Agreement for the Baltic LNG project. The meeting also focused on the Nord Stream 2 project. Gazprom and Shell are jointly engaged in the Sakhalin II project, which includes Russia's only active LNG plant. The Sakhalin II operator is Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd.

Gazprom, PetroVietnam Ink Multiple Deals

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), signed today in Moscow a number of documents to strengthen cooperation between the companies. The signing ceremony was attended by Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, and Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (SRV). the Addendum to extend the Cooperation Agreement on personnel training. According to the Memorandum of Understanding on the development of new oil and gas projects, the parties plan to examine further opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of hydrocarbon prospecting, exploration and development.

Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller Bullish on Arctic

Gazprom has completed the construction of the Gates of the Arctic offshore offloading terminal that would pave the way for year-round oil supplies from the Novoportovskoye field in Yamal. Gazprom takes the leadership position in the Russian petroleum industry. Gazprom's board of directors had approved a RUB 842 billion ($11.8 billion) investment program for 2016. Gazprom Chairman Alexey Miller said: "We have been efficiently developing the Prirazlomnoye field in the Arctic shelf. "This year Gazprom has continued steadily evolving as a global energy Company. We are consistently implementing our plans along all the business lines – gas, oil and power generation," Alexy said in his Christmas and New Year address Tuesday.

Gazprom, OMV Meet on Establishing Nord Stream JV

At a Meeting held at the Gazprom headquarters between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Rainer Seele, Chairman of the Executive Board of OMV, issues of the Nord Stream II project implementation, particularly, the preparations for the Shareholders' Agreement on setting up a joint venture for constructing the new gas pipeline were addressed. This was pursuant to the June 18, 2015 Memorandum of Intent signed by Gazprom, E.ON, Shell and OMV stipulating the joint construction of two strings of the Nord Stream II gas pipeline with the aggregate annual capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia to Germany across the Baltic Sea. OMV is a major partner of Gazprom in Austria.

Construction of Gazprom Center launched in Minsk

Minsk hosted today an official construction launch of Gazprom Center – a Gazprom Group-owned multi-purpose complex. Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus and Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee took part in the event. Situated at the corner of Nezavisimosti Avenue and Filimonova Street close to the National Library of Belarus, the new complex will consist of nine contemporary premises of various heights, designed to be integrated naturally into the surrounding metropolitan area and to complement the existing buildings nearby. A 36-floor building (189 meters high) – the heart of the architectural project – will be occupied by the Gazprom Transgaz Belarus staff and other Gazprom Group-owned companies in Minsk.

Gazprom, Gasunie Sign Framework Agreement - LNG

At a Meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Han Fennema, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Gasunie a Framework Agreement on cooperation in the area of small scale LNG was signed by the two parties. The document stipulates the cooperation in the small scale LNG market in Europe, with a focus on joint projects for the construction of LNG receiving terminals, LNG filling stations and other infrastructure facilities. The parties also looked into the possibility of initiating a joint pilot project for constructing a small LNG receiving terminal in Northwest Europe. The terminal will be used for storing, shipping and selling LNG as a bunker and vehicle fuel as well as an energy source for autonomous gasification.

Gazprom, Total for Joint Exploration in Bolivia

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Patrick Pouyanne, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Executive Committee of Total, to address the core issues of the bilateral cooperation on the current status of the agreements on joint development of oil and gas fields in Bolivia. It was noted that the preparation of wells and the relevant infrastructure was well underway as part of developing the Ipati and Aquio gas deposits before the start of commercial production scheduled for 2016. The meeting also shared opinions regarding the project for joint development of hydrocarbon deposits in the Acero block.

Russia – Turkey Gas Pipeline Approved

Ankara hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Taner Yildiz, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources. The parties discussed the main issues of constructing a new gas pipeline across the Black Sea towards Turkey. The meeting considered the preliminary feasibility study on the new gas pipeline and approved its new route. The four strings will have an aggregate capacity of 63 billion cubic meters a year. 660 kilometers of the pipeline’s route will be laid within the old corridor of South Stream and 250 kilometers – within a new corridor towards the European part of Turkey. Already on January 28 Gazprom will submit a notice requesting a conduct of FEED operations for the new Turkish offshore section.

Gas Supply to Ukraine

The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a briefing session led by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee dedicated to the Company's activities this winter. Special attention was given to the contracts for gas supply to Ukraine and its transit to Europe. It was pointed out that today was the sixth anniversary of the Ukrainian Government approving the results of the negotiations on Russian natural gas supply to Ukraine from 2009 to 2019 and on the terms and conditions of its transit via Ukraine to Europe. These historic documents were effective under different Governments in Ukraine. They have determined and will determine the cooperation between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine in the gas sector until late 2019.

St. Petersburg Becoming Int'l Gas Sales Hub

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, inaugurated today a new office building of Gazprom Export in St. Petersburg. Taking part in the ceremony were Mikhail Mokretsov, Vice-Governor of the city of St. Petersburg, Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Elena Burmistrova, CEO of Gazprom Export, and city authorities. Gazprom, Siemens to Join Forces

Berlin hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Joe Kaesar, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens. The parties addressed the key issues of the joint activities pointing to the long history of the partnership between the companies. In more than 20 years the parties have delivered a number of joint projects on deploying cutting-edge process solutions at Gazprom's facilities. The companies cooperate efficiently in gas production and transmission, automation of process control systems, general-purpose and basic power generation facilities. Russia & China Agree on Gas Supplies

As part of the APEC summit in Beijing, a number of documents related to the Russian-Chinese cooperation in the energy sector were signed today in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Zhou Jiping, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) signed a Framework Agreement on gas supplies via the western route. In particular, the document reflects such conditions as the volume and terms of supply, the take-or-pay level, the location of the gas delivery point on the border. The Framework Agreement defines the schedule of compiling a gas purchase and sale agreement, a technical agreement and an intergovernmental agreement on the western route.

Sochi hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Claudio Descalzi, Chief Operating Officer of Eni. Gazprom to Partner Turkey to Supply Gas

Moscow hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Taner Yildiz, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey. The meeting addressed the issues of strategic partnership, in particular, the prospects for cooperation deepening in natural gas supplies from Russia to Turkey. The parties noted that Turkey was among top consumers of Russian 'blue fuel' for many years and Russia, in its turn, was a reliable provider of natural gas for the Turkish economy, thus covering nearly 60 per cent of the country's total consumption. The Blue Stream gas pipeline is important for ensuring stable gas supplies to Turkey.

New Gas Pipeline To Turkey

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Mehmet Konuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Botas Petroleum Pipeline Corporation yesterday, signed in Ankara a Memorandum of Understanding on constructing an offshore gas pipeline across the Black Sea towards Turkey. The Memorandum was signed in the presence of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation and Recep Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey. The new gas pipeline will have a capacity of 63 billion cubic meters, with 14 billion cubic meters slated for Turkish consumers (identical amount is being delivered via the Balkan Corridor) and nearly 50 billion cubic meters conveyed to the border between Turkey and Greece, where a delivery point will be arranged.

Gazprom to Upgrade Gas Supplies to Kyrgyzstan

The development of gas transmission and distribution infrastructure of Kyrgyzstan was discussed during a meeting held at the Gazprom headquarters hosted today between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Djoomart Otorbaev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. It was pointed out that the relevant facilities in the Republic were well rundown. In this regard, Gazprom is working out the General Gas Supply and Gasification Scheme of Kyrgyzstan until 2030.
