Drydocks World hosts INTERTANKO Team

Drydocks World received a high-level delegation of the Council members from the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO) on 11 November. The delegation included Mr. Olav Eek Thorstensen, MD & CEO of Thome Shipmanagement, Ms. Ann-Marie Astrom, Vice Chairman of the Rederi AB Gotland. The delegation also included members of the board: Mr. Derya Sabaz, COO / Co-owner of v Besiktas Likid AS, Mr. Takis E. Koutris, Managing Director of Roxana Shipping SA, Mr. Tim Horne, Managing Director of Teekay, Mr. Wellington Koo, Executive Director of Valles Shipping and Mr. Erik Ranheim, Staff Member of the International Association of Independent Tanker Owners (INTERTANKO). EIMA Signs MoU with World Maritime University

Drydocks World Holds Jack-up Rigs Workshop

Drydocks World said it held its first joint workshop on January 21-22, 2014, which was organized following the recent signing of Letter of Intent (LOI) with Offshore Innovation Management Ltd., to build a series of AJ 62-X135 series of multi-purpose (accommodation & construction) Jack-Up rigs. Senior delegates from Offshore Innovation Management (Owners), GustoMSC (Designer and supplier of Jacking & Fixation system) Markhus AS (Accommodation specialist) DNV (Classification Society) and Drydocks World (Construction yard) attended the workshop.

Drydocks World Signs Agreement with NSC Holding

Drydocks World, an international service provider to the maritime oil, gas and energy sector, signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with German company NSC Holding, a ship management company located in Hamburg, Germany, managing 56 vessels.
