Hydor Acquires EF Marine

Oslo-based Marine MGA Hydor AS has acquired all the shares in the Singapore- and Rotterdam-based marine MGA, EF Marine Pte. Ltd., and its subsidiary.The combined company will from hereafter be branded as Hydor, with a total team of 34 people, having offices in Oslo (head office), Rotterdam, Hamburg, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. BP Marine to Migrate Marine Lubricant to Castrol

Consolidation will provide marine customers with a simpler and more consistent product offering. Global lubricants manufacturer, Castrol, has announced that it will become the sole brand for the BP group’s marine lubricant offering. The decision to consolidate the marine lubricants offerings that are currently provided under both BP Marine and Castrol Marine brands will create a single product and service portfolio that will provide greater simplicity and efficiency for customers.

Lankhorst Mouldings, RiserTec Develop Dynamic Bend Stiffeners

Offshore engineering specialist, Lankhorst Mouldings and independent engineering design consultancy, RiserTec have announced a co-operation agreement for the design and manufacture of dynamic bend stiffeners. Under the agreement, RiserTec will design and test the riser ancillary products and provide project-specific technical support to Lankhorst. Lankhorst Mouldings will manufacture the bend stiffeners at its facility in the Netherlands. “The combination of skills, experience and capability of RiserTec and Lankhorst Mouldings will ensure projects are completed in an efficient and innovative manner, with consistent high quality,” says Martin Esselbrugge, Offshore Business Unit manager.
