SENER Exhibits FORAN V80 Version at ASNE Day

The SENER engineering and technology group was again a participant at the annual congress organized by the American Society of Naval Engineers, ASNE Day 2016. As in previous years, the meeting took place in Arlington, near Washington DC, on March 2 and 3. The event brings together a large number of military shipyards and related companies from across North America, as they gather to learn about the sector’s new developments in both the technical presentations and the exhibition area.

SENER in ASNE Day Again

For third consecutive year, SENER has participated in the 2015 edition of the ASNE Day, the yearly Congress and Exhibition, organized by the American Society of Naval Engineers from the United States. Like years before, the venue was located in Arlington, close to Washington DC, and in this case it happened during the last 4th and 5th of February. The event gathers a good number of the most relevant naval shipyards and companies around, all from the United States, that want to learn about the news in the naval shipbuilding industry, both in the technical presentations and in the exhibition area, where SENER had a stand. SENER presented the latest developments from its FORAN System, so as the services around the marine engineering and ship design.

SENER Presents Design Paper at SNAME Meeting

SENER has attended the 2013 SNAME (Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers) annual meeting from November 6-8 in Bellevue, Washington. During the event, technical sessions took place as part of the Ship Production Symposium, where engineers from the shipbuilding industry presented important innovations and advances in the state of the art for shipbuilding. Verónica Alonso, North America Area Manager from SENER Marine Business Unit, presented the paper: The use of a 3D CAD System at early design in shipbuilding, written with Antonio Valderrama and Rodrigo Pérez, all from SENER.
