TechnipFMC Acquires DSV Deep Discoverer

TechnipFMC announced Monday it has acquired a newbuild diving support vessel (DSV) Deep Discoverer. The vessel will primarily service the North Sea diving construction and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) markets.The company signed a deal with VARD shipyard in Norway to purchase the vessel in late 2018. The vessel is currently undergoing an operational readiness program and will begin work in the first half of 2019.Deep Discoverer has DP3 capabilities, as well as an 18-person twin bell saturation diving system…

Technip Wins Subsea Contract on Triton FPSO

Technip has been awarded a brownfield subsea contract for the Triton(1) floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, operated by Dana Petroleum, located in the central North Sea. This FPSO vessel is located 193 kilometers east of Aberdeen, at a water depth of approximately 90 meters. It produces oil and gas from different fields - Bittern, Guillemot West and North West, Clapham, Pict and Saxon, which are tied back to the FPSO vessel via subsea facilities comprising a series of pipelines and manifolds.  additional installation, repair and maintenance works. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, United Kingdom (UK), will execute this contract which is a continuation of similar work successfully completed in 2014.

EnQuest Selects Technip for Mega Subsea Contract

Technip was awarded by EnQuest earlier this year a large(1) engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPCI) contract for the Kraken development located in the North Sea,  400 kilometers North-East of Aberdeen and 130 kilometers East of Shetland, at a water depth of approximately 120 meters. - pipeline flooding, hydro testing and leak testing. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, United-Kingdom, will execute the contract. The Group will leverage its unique vertical position in the subsea business. The Group’s spoolbase in Evanton, United-Kingdom, will weld and load-out the rigid pipe and Technip Umbilicals, Technip’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Newcastle, United-Kingdom, will manufacture the umbilical.

Technip Wins Shell Offshore Contract

Technip is awarded an EPIC contract  for Gannet F reinstatement project, situated in the North Sea. The engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract for the project is located in the North Sea, 180 kilometers east of Aberdeen, at a water depth of 95 meters. •    trenching and installation of an 11.9 kilometer umbilical. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, Scotland will execute the contract, which is scheduled to be completed in the second semester of 2013. The Group’s spoolbase in Evanton, Scotland, will fabricate the pipe-in-pipe and DUCO Limited, Technip’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Newcastle, England, will manufacture the umbilical. Technip’s pipelay vessel, Apache II, will be used for the offshore campaign.
