Willman to Lead National Sales Force

Chris Willman to Lead Sea Star Line’s National Sales Force. Sea Star Line, LLC has announced the promotion of Chris Willman to Director of National Field Sales. Chris joined Sea Star Line in March 2005 as an inside sales representative. Since then, Chris has held several key sales positions with his most recent role being sales manager for NVOCC & FAK accounts. “Chris’ sales experience in the Puerto Rico market, combined with his expertise in sales development and sales processes, make him the right choice to lead this group. We will continue to ensure that the direction and organization of the national sales group is aligned with the company’s broader objectives.” said Bill Taylor, vice president of sales.

Sea Star Line Announces Commercial Leadership Changes

Sea Star Line, LLC announced today that Bill Taylor will assume leadership of Sea Star’s United States sales team as Vice President, US Sales. Eduardo Pagan, who held the position of Vice President, Commercial Services will now hold the position of Vice President and General Manager, Puerto Rico and Caribbean. “We are extremely pleased to have Bill on board as he brings 30 years of sales experience in the ocean transportation industry.” said Peter Keller, Sea Star Line President. Crowley Maritime Corporation announced that Dorine Tessier has been named vice president of sales and chartering for its petroleum transportation group. Taylor: Base Closures "Bone-Headed"

"Back in February 2001, Rumsfeld announced his intention to hold a round of base closures. February 2001 was a whole different world than the one we're in now," said Taylor. "On September 11th, 2001, we were attacked. Since then, we've gone to war in Afghanistan and Iraq. We've declared a global war on terrorism. We're closing bases abroad and bringing home thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines. But, Rumsfeld is hell-bent on closing our bases, and he seems to ignore long-term considerations for our nation. Crowley Names Taylor VP

Crowley Maritime Corporation announced today that Capt. Bill Taylor has been promoted to vice president of bulk petroleum and chemical transportation and will manage the commercial activities of the company's petroleum tankers and barges. He will remain domiciled in Jacksonville and report to Rocky Smith, senior vice president and general manager of petroleum services.
