BSP Contracts AqualisBraemar

Oil & natural gas company Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) has awarded AqualisBraemar a frame agreement to conduct rig inspection services for the operator.The agreement is valid for three years with an option to extend the contract for additional periods of three times one year, said the Norway-based global company that provides, through its subsidiaries and associates, consultancy services to the energy, marine and insurance sectors.Oslo-listed AqualisBraemar – a result of the recent unification between Aqualis Offshore and Braemar Technical Services – will provide rig inspection services, engineering and training services to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP).AqualisBraemar will manage the contract out of its office in Malaysia…

Newbuild Kreuz Challenger Mobilized for Brunei Shell Contract

Subsea services company Kreuz Subsea has mobilized the recently delivered newbuild dive support vessel, Kreuz Challenger, as part of its seven-year contract with Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn. KOTUG Assists LNG Vessels at Brunei Terminal

As from the start of October 2014, KOTUG is assisting all LNG vessels at the Brunei LNG Terminal with three powerful Rotortugs. Brunei Shell Petroleum Company awarded KOTUG as its exclusive towage provider with a 24/7 operation, supported by local management. Three 80-ton-plus bollard pull strong tugs of the Rotor concept are in charge for the berthing and unberthing operations of LNG tankers, standby services during loading, oil spill response and firefighting duties. The Rotortugs: RT Champion, RT Leader and RT Tasman were recently mobilized from Europe to Asia.

Keppel’s Integration Efforts Bear Results With million contracts

The integration of Keppel Corporation’s offshore and marine businesses has contributed to a $16 million (S$29 million) swamp barge contract clinched as a result of the synergy of the offshore and specialised shipbuilding divisions. Furthermore, with the integration and Keppel’s sharper focus on specialised shipbuilding, especially support vessels, the offshore and marine group has also won a new contract worth S$21 million from Keppel Smit Towage for three 60-ton tugs which are due for delivery in mid 2003. These tugs, a utility boat and two terminal tractor tugs, will be deployed by Keppel Smit Towage in Brunei for charter to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company.

Horizon Offshore Receives Southeast Asia Contract

Horizon Offshore, Inc.’s subsidiary, Horizon Marine Construction, Ltd., has been awarded a contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn. Bhd (BSP) to perform several installations off the coast of Brunei, beginning the second quarter of 2003. Services provided by Horizon will include project management and installation of a four-pile jacket, drilling deck, two 880-ton compressor modules, and living quarters. In addition to the structural work, Horizon will provide the installation, tie-in, and gauging and testing of several pipelines ranging from 10 to 20 inches in diameter in various water depths including a beach approach. "Horizon is pleased to be awarded a contract of this magnitude in Asia and looks forward to developing a long-term relationship with BSP.
