Howard Completes Port Arthur Terminal

Texas-based midstreamer Howard Energy Partners (Hep) announced that it’s completed the expansions of its bulk liquid terminal facilities in Port Arthur and Corpus Christi, Texas.The completion of these projects increases HEP’s Gulf Coast terminal storage capacity to 2.6 million barrels with three ship docks, three barge docks, unit train loading capacity for up to two trains per day, and direct pipeline connectivity through wholly-owned pipelines to seven refineries. Stolt-Nielsen Norwalk Tanker Staff will move to Houston

Stolt-Nielsen Limited (Oslo Bors: SNI) announced its intention to relocate its tankers' staff in Norwalk, Connecticut to Houston, Texas. The move will consolidate the Company's U.S.-based staff in Houston, which is the port most frequently called by the global Stolt Tankers fleet. Stolt Tank Containers' U.S.-based personnel and the Company's largest wholly owned bulk liquid terminal are already located in Houston. Approximately 60 employees will be affected by the move, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2015, at which time the Norwalk office will be closed. Costs of the relocation will be borne between now and the completion of the relocation. "While office relocations are always difficult, the move is hard to argue against," said Niels G. Stolt-Nielsen, CEO of SNL.

Aegis Logistics commissioned ahead of schedule

Aegis Group, a Leader in Oil, Gas and Chemical Logistics, announced successful early commissioning of the 70,120 KL Bulk Liquid Terminal at Pipavav port on West coast of India. The Pipavav - Phase I expansion was initiated in February 2013 to set up Bulk Liquid Terminal of 1,20,000 KL & 2,700 MT of Gas Terminal & was targeted to commission in H2 FY2015. However, the best efforts of in-house project team resulted in advancement of project by six months. Over 50% Liquid Facilities has now been commissioned with 13 additional tanks operational with a storage capacity totaling to 70,120 KL. Odfjell Signs Site Reservation in France

Odfjell Terminals Europe and Grand Port Maritime du Havre (GPMH) have today signed a Site Reservation Protocol for a plot of land in the Port of Le Havre to develop a bulk liquid terminal. The planned terminal will be located inside the Port of Le Havre along the Grand Canal Maritime and the plot is approximately 31.5 hectares. The first phase will consist of at least 150,000 cbm for storage of petrochemical and petroleum-related products. Construction is currently expected to start in 2015 and the terminal is foreseen to open in 2nd half 2017. The total investment for the first phase is estimated to be about €150-200 million. HAROPA – Port of Le Havre is one of Europe’s largest ports, strategically located by the entrance to River Seine.

St. Johns Ship Building delivers two tugs to Smithbridge for high profile terminal construction project in Botany Bay. St. Johns Ship Building of Palatka, Fla. delivered two custom built twin screw push tugs, the Lady Shayne and the Lady Dashelle, for Smithbridge of Brisbane Australia. Stolt-Nielsen Agrees To Sell Terminals to Kinder Morgan

Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stolt-Nielsen S.A., announced it has signed a definitive agreement with Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. for the sale of its Chicago, Ill., and Perth Amboy, N.J. bulk liquid terminal facilities for $70 million.
