Dutch multinational geo-data specialist Fugro has completed the second of three Malaysian seep hunting and geochemical campaigns for Malaysian oil and gas company ‘Petronas’.According to the provider of geotechnical, survey, subsea, and geoscience services, the first campaign was conducted offshore Sabah, Malaysia, and took place between December 2018 and March 2019, using 2012 built Fugro Equator, which acquired geophysical data including multibeam echo sounder (MBES) and sub-bottom profiler (SBP) data used to interpret geologic features and optimize target selection for geochemical sampling.The second campaign was located offshore Sarawak…
New Cutter Suction Dredge: Modern and Efficient
Ellicott Dredges, LLC has debuted a new design 20” (500 mm) cutter suction dredge, the Series 2070 Dragon dredge. Aiming to take advantage of modern, up-to-date technology and advanced design techniques, the new dredger unit will eventually replace the Series 1870 Dragon as Ellicott’s standard and in-stock 20” dredge. “This is a truly modern and efficient design without any sacrifice of the versatility, long life and high production rates that owners of the 1870 have come to expect,” said Paul Quinn, Vice President of Sales for Ellicott.
Caterpillar's Latest at Global Petroleum Show 2012
Caterpillar Inc. will have a number of technologies demonstrating its expertise in petroleum applications on display at the 2012 Global Petroleum Show. Among the products on display will be the company’s new Dynamic Gas Blending retrofit kit and the Cat® CX48-2300 transmission. In addition, the company will showcase the Cat G3520 engine and G3306 generator set as well as the C15 hazardous location solutions. The new Dynamic Gas Blending retrofit kit provides customers with a cost-effective dual fuel option. The Dynamic Gas Blending kit allows customers to reduce fuel costs and meet changing emissions regulations by utilizing a wide range of gaseous fuels in their existing diesel generator sets. Also on view is the enhanced G3520B engine.
