Wight Shipyard Delivers Catamaran for Scotland
U.K. shipbuilder Wight Shipyard Co has delivered its latest vessel to Scottish tourism operator Loch Ness by Jacobite. Arklow Launch Wind Farm Service Vessel
Arklow Marine Services launch their second 20 metre wind farm service vessel for Alicat into Ireland's River Avoca at Arklow. Painted in Alicat colours the vessel was lifted into the water by 250-ton crane, ready to start up the main engines and later for basin and sea trials. The new vessel is due to leave Arklow on 1st July, for a lengthy coastal inaugural promotional trip. New Aquaculture Workboat from Alnmaritec
Alnmaritec, the specialist aluminium boat builder based in Northumberland, recently announced the completion of âShelagh Janeâ a new aquaculture workboat for service on a fish farm on the West Coast of Scotland. This rugged no nonsense support boat is a development of the highly successful Alnmaritec Wave Worker class. She is designed specifically to have improved sea keeping properties to allow her to transfer long distances between fish farm sites and she has a unique hull form to fulfil this role.
