Centek Selects New UK Sales Rep

At the opening of the 2014 PSP Southampton Boat Show today, Centek Industries of the U.S. announced the appointment of AJS Technical Services of Northants as the company’s technical sales representative for the United Kingdom. Centek celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. The company has designed, engineered and built more than 15,000 custom marine exhaust systems for yachts, workboats, military and law enforcement vessels worldwide. Centek’s engineering staff has more than 80 years of marine wet exhaust system design and innovation experience.

Manuflex, Centek Collaborate on Goodchild Pilots Exhaust Systems

Custom exhaust systems designed, engineered and manufactured by Manuflex Ltd. in partnership with Centek Industries are providing sound attenuation aboard two fast pilot launches built by Goodchild Marine of the United Kingdom for Estuary Services, Ltd. Both vessels operate from Ramsgate, supporting Thames pilots in the busy Southern North Sea and Thames estuary. Estuary Elan was the first of its innovative design by French Naval Architect Pantocarene to be built in the UK by Goodchild Marine.

GEN-SEP Cooling Water Separator

The GEN-SEP from exhaust systems manufacturer Centek Industries is used in conjunction with a Centek Vernalift muffler on generator sets to separate cooling water from exhaust gasses. Pyrotek Distributes Centek Exhaust Systems

Centek Industries, manufacturer of fiberglass marine wet exhaust mufflers and systems, has appointed the Soundguard Division of Pyrotek to distribute the company’s products in the Pacific Rim. Headquartered in Girraween, New South Wales, Australia, with offices in New Zealand, Dubai, Taiwan and China, the Pyrotek Soundguard division has been providing noise control solutions to boat builders and boatyards since 1972. Centek Industries, 250,000 Lift Mufflers Sold

Centek Industries is observing the sale of its 250,000th water lift muffler since the company’s founding in 1962. The Centek Vernalift muffler was originally manufactured for small auxiliary propulsion engines installed near or below the water line in sailboats.
