MEP Announces New Board, Staff Members

Marine Environmental Partners, Inc. (MEP), a developer of innovative technology for ballast water and wastewater treatment, announced the election of Ann Beal Salamone to the company’s Board of Directors and the addition of Jorge Pérez to the sales staff. A nationally known chemist, Ms. Salamone is president and co-founder of Rochal Industries, Inc., a Boca Raton-based research firm. During her professional career, Salamone has worked as a chemist for NL Industries, Colgate Palmolive and Morton Thiokol, and holds nine patents in chemical and medical technologies. Active in industry and community associations, she is the recent recipient of the American Chemical Societies’ Polymer Division Science Education Award.

NOL Reports First Half Profit of $11M
