iXBlue Gyrocompass Chosen for the French Navy
PIRIOU selects iXBlue’s QUADRANS as reference gyrocompass for the French Navy B2M multi-mission ship program as iXBlue QUADRANS sales tops 400 units since launch. For each vessel, iXBlue will supply the complete navigation suite, including QUADRANS gyrocompass, NETANS data distribution and processing unit, and the warfare navigation software. iXBlue is a global provider of navigation, positioning and imaging solutions and services for civil and defense applications. Trellborg Delivers QRH for Herb Elliott Port Expansion
Trelleborg met a tight time frame to deliver its state-of-the-art Quick Release Hooks (QRHs) with load monitoring, remote release and a central monitoring system to the Herb Elliott Port in Australia. By delivering ahead of schedule and avoiding the need to equipment by air freight, Trelleborg said it save its customer, Fortescue Metals Group Limited (FMG), a substantial amount of money. After initially winning the contract to supply four units back in late 2011, Trelleborg Marine Systems was chosen to supply a further six earlier this year.
