Deep Casing Tools Re-enters Canada
Aberdeen-based oil field technology firm Deep Casing Tools (DCT), which specialises in the design and manufacture of casing and completion tools, has agreed a pact with a Canadian distributor, ProTorque Connection Technologies (PTCT).The partnership with ProTorque, a tubular running service business, will see Deep Casing Tools re-enter the Canadian market, which historically was a successful region for the company.Deep Casing Tools previously had an office in Alberta, Canada, but during the more challenging times of the oil and gas industry downturn and a reduction in drilling activity, took the decision pull out of the region.Following…
Haliburton Open New Singapore Facility
Halliburton opens its newly constructed Completion Technology and Manufacturing Center in Singapore. The new state-of-the-art facility is located on about 43 acres in Jurong Industrial Park and includes more than 500,000 square feet (46,451 square meters) of manufacturing and administrative space. The facility includes technology laboratories and test facilities, which house complex processes such as high-alloy material precision machining, electrode discharge machines, small deep-hole gun drilling and fully automated high-pressure testing. Halliburton Wins $40M Contract
Halliburton Worldwide Limited has been awarded a two-year, $40 million multi-service contract by Occidental Mukhaizna, LLC, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation for the Mukhaizna Field in the Sultanate of Oman. The contract calls for Halliburton to provide an integration of services from the Fluid Systems, Drilling and Formation Evaluation, and Production Optimization divisions. The range of services includes fluid services, cementing, casing attachments, directional drilling, mud logging, reservoir coring, and completion tools.
