Allseas Installs New Module on Buzzard Platform Complex in North Sea

Rolls-Royce Merges 2 Subsidiaries for Better Engine Life Management

Rolls-Royce today announced the merger of two wholly owned subsidiaries, Aero Engine Controls (AEC) and Optimized Systems and Solutions (OSyS), to form a new business, Controls and Data Services (CDS), which will continue to operate as part of the Rolls-Royce Group. The new business will bring together equipment sensors, controls and monitoring systems with performance analysis and health management services, delivering greater asset intelligence at a faster pace. Aker Solutions Contracted for UK Subsea Field Redevelopment

Aker Solutions secures a NOK 650 million (GBP 70 million) contract with BP to help redevelop one of the largest oil fields in the UK sector. The Aberdeen operation of Aker Solutions will manufacture and supply all subsea controls equipment for the Quad 204 project, the redevelopment of the Schiehallion and Loyal fields located approximately 100 miles west of the Shetland Islands. The scope of work includes subsea controls equipment for subsea trees, manifolds and subsea safety isolation valves as well as controls distribution assemblies.

FMC Win BP Subsea Equipment Contract

FMC Technologies to manufacture and supply subsea equipment for BP's Thunder Horse Field in the Gulf of Mexico. The Thunder Horse oil field is located in the Mississippi Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico, 150 miles (240 kilometers) southeast of New Orleans in approximately 6,300 feet (1,920 meters) of water. FMC Technologies' scope of supply includes two manifolds and associated controls equipment . In addition, the scope includes several pipeline end terminations , flowline and well jumper kits and umbilical termination assemblies. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first half of 2013. "FMC Technologies is pleased to continue supporting BP as they further develop Thunder Horse," said Tore Halvorsen, FMC Technologies' Senior Vice President, Subsea Technologies.

GE Oil & Gas $120M Subsea Service Contract

Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), a world leader in deep-water and ultra-deep water oil production, has awarded GE Oil & Gas a four-year service agreement to deliver repairs, maintenance and retrofits on Petrobras’ fleet of subsea equipment installed in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil. The scope of the agreement, valued at approximately $120M, includes service and repairs on over 300 exploration and 250 production tools, as well as retrofitting six subsea production trees each year with GE advanced technology. GE will conduct the service program from its Macaé Service Center, located in Rio de Janeiro state, which is currently undergoing a $30M investment refurbishment and expansion. The 91,000 sq.
