Crowley Promotes King and Stewart

Crowley Maritime Corp. has announced the promotion of Tiffanny King and Jeannie Stewart to the positions of vice president of People Services. While each has different areas of focus, both will ultimately support Crowley’s mission of ensuring high-performance and employee development across the company. King and Stewart report to Carl Fox, senior vice president, corporate services, in Jacksonville, where all are based.In her new position, King has responsibility for human resources, compensation and employee health and well being.

Crowley Honors Employees Eisenhart and Hilburn

Crowley Maritime Corporation’s Jeannie Eisenhart, director of talent acquisition and employee services, and Bleu Hilburn, director of logistics business development, have been honored with 2015 Thomas Crowley Awards, the company’s highest honor for its employees. Holland America Line Wins 8 Magellan Awards

Travel Weekly magazine announced the recipients of its 2014 Magellan Awards, and Holland America Line received eight of the prestigious honors. The line won five gold awards in the categories Restaurant Design for Canaletto Small Plates, Television Commercial for “Breathtaking Meet Impeccable,” Blog for the Holland America Blog, Direct Mail for the 2014 Winter Mariner Magazine and Advertising/Marketing Campaign for Discover HAL’s Alaska. Three silver awards were bestowed on the line for Entertainment and the B.B. CTI Marine Expand with New U.K. Office

CTI Corporate Travel International, the £100 million company formed by the acquisition of Hotelscene by the TD Travel Group, continues its expansion with the opening of new marine travel office in Hull. CTI Marine is the specialist maritime travel division of CTI. The company are one of only a handful who can offer exclusive travel fares to companies in the maritime, energy and security sectors. Kattán de Jordán and Sweep Awarded Thomas Crowley Trophies

Claudia Kattán de Jordán, general manager, Honduras and Nicaragua, for Crowley Maritime Corporation's liner services group, and Cal Sweep, director of facilities development for the corporation in Jacksonville, were awarded 2005 Thomas Crowley trophies, the company's highest honor, at ceremonies last week in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Created 20 years ago, the Thomas Crowley Trophy award honors employees with outstanding performance, whose dedication, leadership, initiative and productivity most clearly reflect those of the company's founder. The trophy, a limited edition, bronze sculpture depicting young Thomas Crowley as he ferried goods to and from ships on San Francisco Bay in the early 1890s, is a tribute to the founder of the company as well as the winners of the award.
