CP Ships Makes Appointments

CP Ships has named Andrea Bolch as Vice President of its Europe-Asia Business Unit based in Ipswich, United Kingdom. US East Coast-India; South East Asia / India / Arabian Gulf. for Australasia. Bolch was previously Senior Vice President, ANZDL. Since joining the company as Commercial Director in 1992, she has held a number of senior management posts. Within the Ipswich-based Business Unit, Peter Hill continues as Vice President for the Australasia Business Unit having line management responsibility for the multiple services operated under the Contship Containerlines and ANZDL brands in the Australasian markets. These include: Europe-Australasia; Ocean Star Round-the-World; US West Coast-Australasia; Trans-Tasman and Australasia/Asia.

CMA CGM Considers More Commitment to UK Tonnage Tax Regime

Contship Aurora Enters Service

Contship Takes Delivery of Australis

service on December 17 in Auckland. reefer container ships in service. David Halliday, senior vice president of CP Ships' Australasia and Asia Business Unit. "The new ships deploy integral reefer technology, rather than the old air blown system. This is a more flexible approach with global compatibilities making the transport and handling of reefer cargoes more efficient and flexible. The new ships replace tonnage deployed in Contship Containerlines' Eagle service between Europe, Australia and New Zealand, forming part of a new service program on the route.

Contship Offers Passengers Sales

Contship Containerlines is offering passenger voyages directly to the public. The voyages are available on the Contship Aurora, Contship Australis and Contship Borealis - that Contship has recently introduced the eastbound routing of its contra-rotating services in the Europe-Australasia trade. The three new vessels are the first to be owned by Contship. the world's largest reefer contsinerships. calls on the US eastern seaboard. The full round-trip will take nearly 70 days. available. and WC. The cabins are fitted with beechwood furniture and fittings. Containerlines. "There is nothing mass-market or commercialised about a freighter. experience. screen television and a bar. Meals are taken in the Officers' Mess. returning to Tilbury.

CP Ships Announces Management Appointments

Jeremy Masters has been appointed as the vice president for the CP Ships Limited business unit. He will report to Chief Operating Officer Frank Halliwell, and will be based in the United Kingdom. Masters joined Canada Maritime in 1984 and for the past years has been CP Ships Vice President responsible for the Asia Service Unit in Hong Kong, which provides sales, marketing and administrative support for CP Ships services in Asia. He will take over from David Halliday, who for personal reasons will in due course leave the company after a long and distinguished career of over 22 years with both Contship Containerlines and, since 1997, CP Ships. Stuart Rattray will replace Jeremy Masters as Vice President Asia Service Unit in Hong Kong.
