Transocean's Fleet Update Summary

Transocean Ltd. issued a monthly Fleet Update Summary which includes new contracts, changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since October 15, 2014. The total value of new contracts since the October 15, 2014 Fleet Status Report is approximately $83 million. - Discoverer Enterprise - Awarded a one-well contract extension in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico at a dayrate of $399,000 ($32 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $615,000. - GSF Galaxy III - Awarded a four month contract as an accommodation unit in Denmark at a dayrate of $175,000 ($23 million estimated backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $160,000.

Transocean Drilling Rig Fleet Update Summary

Transocean Ltd. has issued a monthly Fleet Update Summary which includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out-of-service time of 15 or more days since January 16, 2014. The total value of new contracts since the January 16, 2014 Fleet Status Report is approximately $66 million. Estimated 2014 out-of-service time increased by a net 150 days, including 91 days primarily associated with customer-requested and substantially reimbursed upgrades on the GSF Galaxy I; and 45 days on the M.G.

Transocean Fleet Update Summary

Transocean's fleet update summary includes new contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated OofS time. The value of new contracts or extensions since the November 18, 2012 fleet update summary is approximately US$119=million. Estimated 2012 out of service time (OofS increased by a net 40 days, including 22 days to complete repairs on the Henry Goodrich and 19 days to complete work scope on the GSF Explorer. Estimated 2013 out of service time decreased by a net 17 days.

Transocean Provides Fleet Update Summary

Transocean Ltd. today issued a monthly fleet update summary which includes newly signed contracts, significant changes to existing contracts, and changes in estimated planned out of service time of 15 days or longer for all rig classifications since the previously issued comprehensive fleet status report or fleet update summary. Deepwater Expedition - Awarded a two-year contract with an undisclosed customer commencing December 2012 at an initial dayrate of $650,000 ($475 million contract backlog). Additionally, the contract includes three priced eight-month option periods. Discoverer Seven Seas - Awarded a three-well contract (approximately 180 days) for work offshore Indonesia at a dayrate of $445,000 ($80 million contract backlog). The rig's prior dayrate was $295,000.

Transocean Deepwater Drillship Gets 3-Year Contract

Transocean Inc. has announced that the deepwater drillship Discoverer Seven Seas has been awarded a three-year contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) of India. The integrated services contract is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2004, following the mobilization of the rig from a Brazilian shipyard to India. Exclusive of a mobilization fee, the contract includes revenue for the Discoverer Seven Seas of approximately $137 million over three years, plus revenues for comprehensive services that include well-planning, operations support and logistics-management. The Discover Seven Seas is a dynamically positioned drillship capable of drilling in water depths up to 7,000 feet.

Transocean Offshore Inc. Announces 30-Month Contract for Discoverer Seven Seas

Transocean Offshore Inc. announced one of its operating subsidiaries has been awarded a 30-month contract commitment by Petróleo Brasilerio S.A. (Petrobras), the state oil company of Brazil, for deepwater, dynamically positioned drillship Discoverer Seven Seas. The contract is expected to commence during August 1999, following the completion of the rig's current drilling assignment in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico and an estimated 40-day mobilization period to Brazil. Revenues expected to be generated over the 30-month contract period are $90 million. In addition, the contract commitment provides for a daily earned bonus opportunity of up to five percent of the base revenue expectation.

Transocean Wins Contracts for Rigs

The Transocean Leader, a fourth-generation, deepwater semi-submersible rig, won a one-year contract from Statoil ASA for exploration and development drilling operations offshore Norway. The Transocean Leader is expected to commence the contract by September 2007, in direct continuation of the rig's current contract, also with Statoil in Norway. Expected revenues are approximately $133 million. Additionally, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) of India awarded the ultra-deepwater drillship Discoverer Seven Seas a three-year contract for drilling operations offshore India. The drillship is expected to complete its current three-year contract with ONGC by February 2007 and commence the new contract by the end of May 2007, following an estimated 90-day planned shipyard program.
