Dometic Promotes Trigg

Dometic Group promoted Ned Trigg to Executive Vice President of Dometic’s Marine division. In his new role, Trigg will be the business leader for the Marine OEM and Aftermarket divisions for the Americas region. This includes sales, application engineering, customer service, manufacturing operations and new product development strategies. “Ned Trigg brings a wealth of experience across all of our target markets – from leisure boating and yachting to workboat, commercial and military markets,” said Frank Marciano, President of Dometic Americas. “Over the last 27 years, Mr. Trigg has worked closely with our design, engineering, manufacturing and sales teams, offering boat builders and end-customers a single source for innovative comfort products and on-board systems.

Dometic to Launch Watermaker at IBEX

Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the marine, truck, RV and automotive markets, announced it will showcase its new XTC-ZTC Double-Pass Watermaker at the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), Sept. 15-17 in Louisville, Ky. According to Dometic , the XTC-ZTC is the first and only fully automatic, integrated double-pass reverse-osmosis system that can purify every source of yacht water, including seawater, brackish water, lake water, river water or dockside water. It is also the first and only watermaker with mechanical override for full redundancy and peace of mind.

Dometic Debuts Engineering Team for Ship-wide Ventilation

Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the marine, truck, caravan, motor home and automotive markets, has unveiled its new, dedicated team of ship-wide ventilation experts, who specialize in providing customized design, engineering support and consultation services to the global marine industry. Led by Dometic application engineers Neil Norton and Nelson Frolund, the Dometic Marine ship-wide ventilation team will focus exclusively on designing and implementing installation of smoke and fire dampers, axial fans and blowers, mist eliminators and accessories for boat builders, integrators and owners.

Dometic to Debut New Product Line at Workboat

Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, will launch a range of new equipment, including products reported to be the first of their kind for the marine industry, at this year’s International Workboat Show, December 3-5 in New Orleans. Among the new products on display will be the Dometic Cup Cooler, the marine industry’s first thermoelectric cup holder, the Smart Touch Integrated Intelligence Control (STIIC) software for remote monitoring and the Dometic Sea Xchange line of watermakers.

Dometic Names Pinto National Account Manager

Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, a global provider of leisure products for the marine, recreational vehicle, commercial and passenger vehicle markets, announced that it has appointed Joe Pinto as National Account Manager - Reverse Osmosis Systems. In his new role, Pinto will lead Dometic’s Aftermarket and OEM sales teams as they expand the company’s presence in the fresh water and sea water reverse osmosis systems marketplace. In January 2014, Dometic Marine formally announced an exclusive worldwide agreement with Spot Zero Reverse Osmosis Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to market and sell its Spot Zero Fresh Water Reverse Osmosis systems and its Sea Xchange Sea Water Reverse Osmosis systems.

Dometic Makes Key Changes in EMEA Territory

Dometic Group recently confirmed five key appointments in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) territory following the restructuring of Dometic Group’s global business operations in early 2013. Dometic noted that the appointments have been made to strengthen the EMEA business moving into 2014 as the company is experiencing an increasing demand for its products and installations within the commercial and workboat sector. Paul Hickinbotham has been appointed Director EMEA - Sales and Administrations & Commercial Division.

The acquisition will broaden Dometic’s offering to our global client base with new Marine applications such as axial fans, centrifugal blowers, smoke and fire dampers, mist-eliminating grilles and electronic fan controls. This acquisition will create a larger product portfolio by now also offering engine room ventilation equipment. Customers will benefit from having a single point of contact for their entire HVAC systems, simplifying design, service and maintenance.

Dometic Group Announces Global Reorganization

Formerly President of Dometic Marine, Frank Marciano has been appointed President of Dometic Americas for all divisions after Dometic Group announced a global reorganization and restructuring. The new management and business structure was enacted by the company’s global CEO, Roger Johansson, and was effective from February 1. Marciano, who is based at the Marine headquarters in Pompano Beach, Florida, is a 22-year employee of Dometic. The marine business continues to be an important part of his new role.
