American Public University Live Webinar: Overcoming Maritime Risks

American Public University (APU), part of American Public University System, will host a live webinar on Wednesday, February 16, 2011, to examine best practices for managing regulatory, environmental and operational risks faced by the maritime industry. APU Professor Donald McKay, a noted maritime transportation and logistics expert and Joseph Keefe, managing editor of Maritime Professional, will discuss the financial impact of complex day-to-day challenges – including acts of piracy, catastrophic accidents, natural disasters and the loss of infrastructure resulting in downtime.
