New Module Training Series
The training series Design of Marine Auxiliary Systems have been expanded with a new module: âHVAC and refrigeration systemsâ (module 4). This new module provides the participants with the knowledge required to design these systems and perform the necessary calculations in order to do so. The fundamental working principles as well as design considerations and the rules concerning these systems are all covered. The course consists of 4 separate modules. The first module starts on March 7 and 8, 2016 in Rotterdam.
Innovative Solutions to Global Trends at INEC 2014
The newly launched program for the 12th International Naval Engineering Conference and Exhibition â INEC 2014, being held at the Marine Establishment Amsterdam in the Netherlands (May 20-22, 2014) features an incomparable line-up drawn from over a dozen countries speaking to the theme âInnovative solutions to global trendsâ. Peter De Vos Appointed Marine Propulsion Course Trainer
The ninth edition of the international HME Marine Propulsion training series starts in September. It will be a new experience for Peter de Vos, Assistant Professor of Marine Engineering at Delft Technical University (TU Delft). As the latest addition to the team, De Vos will work closely with Professor Douwe Stapersma in modules 1, 3 and 5. Peter De Vos graduated cum laude in 2008 on the modeling of a fuel processing plant for the application of fuel cells onboard vessels in the Ship Design, Production and Operation section of the Marine Engineering department at TU Delft.
Marine Propulsion Course with Professor Woud
The first module in the Marine Propulsion Course will start on 22 and 23 September.
