Naval Grant for DynCorp

DynCorp International LLC, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $45,649,330 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract (N62742-08-C-1115) to exercise the second option period to provide support services for Philippines Operations Support in the Republic of the Philippines for the Joint Special Operations Task Force – Philippines. The work is expected to provide for all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide support services. The current total contract amount after exercise of this option will be $206,634,712. Work will be performed in the Republic of the Philippines, and work is expected to be completed Jun. 30, 2010.

USN Awards 391 Contractors

The U.S. Navy is awarding indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contracts to 391 contractors that will provide for their competition for service requirements solicited by Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the United States Marine Corps. The 22 functional service areas within the scope of the contracts include 1. Research and Development Support. 2. Engineering System Engineering and Process Engineering Support. 3. Modeling, Simulation, Stimulation, and Analysis Support. 4. Prototyping, Pre-Production, Model-Making, and Fabrication Support.

DynCorp Wins $35M For USNS Subcontract

DynCorp has received a five-year, $35 million subcontract to provide operational support to the United States Naval Ship (USNS) Hayes and USNS Waters, Naval Special Mission ships that support test and range operations in Florida. The USNS Hayes, one of the acoustically quietest surface ships in the world, operates from Port Canaveral, Fla., and supports the U.S. Navy's underwater sound range at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC). Because of its special design, the Hayes is the only ship in the U.S. Navy capable of performing the full-spectrum of active and passive ship acoustic signature measurements required for new and recently overhauled Naval surface ships and submarines.
