Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. delivers the escort tug Neptune to Suderman & Young Towing Company and launches the Escort Tug David B to Bay-Houston Towing Co. Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. has delivered the escort tug Neptune (Hull# 237) on March 28, 2016. The Neptune is the second in series of four identical Robert Allan, LTD. (RAL) designed Z-Tech 2400 Class terminal and escort tugs currently under construction for Suderman & Young Towing Company at Eastern’s Nelson Street facility.

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. has launched the Escort Tug ZYANA K (Hull 238) for Bay-Houston Towing Co. on February 19, 2016. A series of four Robert Allan, LTD. (RAL) designed Z-Tech 2400 Class Terminal & Escort Tugs is currently under construction at Eastern’s Nelson Street facility. The ZYANA K is scheduled to deliver in 2016. The launch ceremony was held at Eastern’s Nelson Street facility and hosted by Patrick D’Isernia, Project Manager at Eastern, with employees and guests in attendance. Patrick praised the Eastern employees for all their hard work and G&H Towing for their commitment to the project. Deacon Earl Mirus of St. John’s Catholic Church of Panama City, FL. blessed the vessel. Jennie Frey had the honor of christening the vessel.

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. announced it has launched escort tug Triton for Suderman & Young Towing Company on September 11, 2015. The launch ceremony was held at Eastern’s Nelson Street facility and hosted by Joey D’Isernia, President of Eastern, with employees and guests in attendance. Mike Nigro, V.P. of G&H Towing shared a few words about the quality work and commitment of the companies involved and Deacon Earl Mirus of St. John’s Catholic Church of Panama City blessed the vessel. Mikes wife, Lisa had the honor of christening the vessel.

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. launched the HOS Warland (Hull 241) on Friday March 6, 2015 for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC. The HOS Warland is Eastern’s first of two 302’x76’x26’ multipurpose service vessels (MPSV) launched with the Hornbeck designation HOSMPSV 310ES. Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. held its third HOSMAX Double Event in Panama City, Florida. On Friday, October 24, 2014, the christening and subsequent launching of the HOS Brairwood (Hull 210) the 10th HOSMAX launch in 20 months, followed with the same day delivery of the HOS Black Watch  (Hull 208) both for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC. The launch event was held at Eastern’s Allanton facility with hundreds of Eastern employees and guests in attendance with an afternoon of perfect weather and launch conditions.

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. announced the launching of the HOS Black Foot (Hull 206) on Friday January 17, 2014 for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC. The HOS Black Foot is Eastern’s second vessel in Hornbeck Offshore’s HOSMAX 310 class series. The launching event was held at Eastern’s Allanton facility with hundreds of Eastern employees and guests attending, including Naval Architecture students from the University of New Orleans, La. who were visiting the shipyard. Attending from Hornbeck was Carl G. Annessa, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. announced the christening and subsequent launching of the M/V HOS Red Rock for Hornbeck Offshore Services, LLC. The event was held at Eastern’s Allanton facility with hundreds of Eastern Employees and Guests. Attending from Hornbeck was William “Bill” Krewsky, Director of Engineering and Project Management, and Scott Siberski, Manager of Projects, along with 10 senior members and vessel officers of the Hornbeck Team witnessing the launch of the second of ten HOSMAX Offshore Supply Vessels under contract with Eastern.

Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) 'Red Dawn' has been launched from the Eastern Shipbuilding Group's Allanton facility. Attending from Hornbeck was Todd Hornbeck, President & CEO,  and Carl Annessa, Executive Vice President & COO, along with 12 senior members of the Hornbeck Team witnessing the launch of the first of ten HOSMAX Offshore Supply Vessels under contract with Eastern. Captain Billy Haugh, who will be taking the vessel to sea as Master once it delivers later this year, and his wife Shandale had the honor of christening the vessel.
