Sempra Energy's Port Arthur LNG in Pact with PGNiG

Poland's state-owned gas company Polish Oil & Gas Company (PGNiG) and Port Arthur LNG, LLC, a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, have entered into a definitive 20-year sale-and-purchase agreement for liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Port Arthur LNG liquefaction-export facility under development in Jefferson County, Texas. White House Says No Issue With Biden's Son - Ukraine Co.

The White House on Tuesday brushed aside questions about whether the involvement of Vice President Joe Biden's son in a Ukrainian natural gas company raised ethical issues at a time when the administration is promoting energy diversity in the country. R. Hunter Biden, a lawyer and a partner in an investment firm, was named this week to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings, a private company that has drilled for natural gas in Ukraine since 2002. In a statement on Burisma's website, Hunter Biden said he would help the company with "transparency, corporate governance and responsibility, international expansion," and other issues.

Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum gives an introduction to diverse power generation methods. The Environment/Energy Zone of the Mitsubishi Minatomirai Industrial Museum, established by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) in Yokohama in 1994, will reopen following a complete renovation of its exhibits. Organized under the theme of "energy diversity," the newly refurbished zone will feature actual exhibits, scale models and video presentations introducing MHI's various power generation methods.

Qatargas, Shell Send Qatargas Cargo to India

Qatargas and Shell announced that the first cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Qatargas 4 Project (70% Petroleum, and 30% Shell) has loaded. The cargo is en route to Hazira receiving terminal in . Qatargas, the company who pioneered the LNG Industry in , now has a production capacity of 42 mtpa of LNG, from its seven trains. This makes it the world’s largest LNG producer.
