EnerSea Advances CNG Projects

EnerSea Transport LLC (EnerSea) is advancing its efforts into the next phase of two international gas development and import project proposals for the Philippines and New Zealand using EnerSea's compressed natural gas (CNG) marine transport and storage systems and services. The two gas supply projects are being led by Unocal Corporation and Oil Search Limited, respectively. EnerSea along with Oil Search and Itochu Corporation have signed a Pre- Development Agreement to perform a comprehensive feasibility study to establish the viability of a large scale CNG transportation project to ship natural gas from Papua New Guinea (PNG) to New Zealand.

HHI Partners With EnerSea Transport

EnerSea Transport LLC (EnerSea) and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI) are partnering together to complete vessel design and obtain 'class approval in principle' certification for EnerSea's breakthrough VOTRANS(TM) compressed natural gas (CNG) marine transport vessels. Tanker Pacific Teams with EnerSea

EnerSea Transport LLC (EnerSea) announced that Mercuria Holdings Limited, a principal of the Tanker Pacific Group, purchased an equity stake in EnerSea. This investment positions Tanker Pacific as a strategic partner in the development of EnerSea's natural gas transportation and storage projects. Tanker Pacific will assist EnerSea in the development of its compressed natural gas (CNG) marine transport projects by providing offshore gas storage facilities and services using EnerSea's proprietary VOTRANSTM technology. The Tanker Pacific relationship also provides for further access to capital for EnerSea projects. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.

EnerSea Gas Carrier Achieves Class Approval in Principle from ABS

EnerSea Transport LLC, in association with its maritime partners, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K"Line) and Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. (HHI), announced today that its VOTRANS gas carrier has achieved "Class Approval in Principle" (AIP) from ABS (American Bureau of Shipping). This marks a major milestone in the companies' ability to deliver compressed natural gas (CNG) through the world's first commercial large scale marine gas transport system of its kind. "Class Approval in Principle is further independent validation of VOTRANS' solid engineering foundation and allows us to launch our industry-leading CNG capabilities," said EnerSea's Managing Director Paul Britton.
