Lamprell Wins Offshore Wind Project

Lamprell announced that it has been selected by GeoSea Procurement & Shipping Luxembourg SA, a wholly owned subsidiairy of GeoSea NV, the lead engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor on the Moray East offshore wind farm, to fabricate jacket foundations for the project.Lamprell, the provider of fabrication, engineering and contracting services to the offshore energy industry, said it will fabricate 45 out of approximately 100 jacket foundations required for the wind farm, plus three jackets for the offshore substations also being installed for use on the project.Total project value is in excess of $200 million.

Delivery of Seventh Drilling Unit to NDC

Lamprell (ticker: LAM), a provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the energy industry, announced the completion of construction on the jackup drilling rig, Al Gharbia, and its delivery to Abu Dhabiā€™s National Drilling Company (NDC). Completion and delivery of the jackup rig, on time and on budget, was marked at an inauguration ceremony held at Lamprellā€™s Hamriyah facility in the UAE on 22 December. The rig will depart the facility in late December en route to its drilling location in Abu Dhabi.

Cathelco MGPS for Latest Lamprell-built Jack-up

Cathelco will provide a marine growth prevention system (MGPS) for the latest in a series of jack-up drilling rigs to be built by Lamprell, the UAE based  leading provider of fabrication, engineering and contracting services to the offshore and onshore oil and gas and renewable energy industries. This will be the ninth MGPS to be supplied to Lamprell for jack-up rigs constructed at its Hamriyah facility. The order was won by Cathelco Middle East FZC based in Sharjah which was set up in 2015 to provide sales and engineering support for customers throughout the region.

Enerpac Takes the Load for Lamprell Jack-Up Rig

High-pressure hydraulics specialist, Enerpac, with its official distributor Al Masaood Trading, Dubai, has supplied Lamprell, a provider of diversified fabrication, engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore energy industries, with an EVO-Series Synchronous Lifting System to weigh a newly completed jack-up rig. The Enerpac multifunctional synchronous lifting EVO system monitors and manages lifting, lowering, weighing, alignment and load transfer procedures of non-uniform distributed heavy loads.

Lamprell Wins Daman Corporate Health Award

Lamprell (ticker: LAM), a leading provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore energy industry is delighted to announce that, last Wednesday 5 November, the Group was declared as a winner at the Daman Corporate Health Awards which took place at the Rosewood Hotel, Abu Dhabi. In total, 47 companies were shortlisted for the finals in 12 different categories. Lamprell won the award for the ā€˜Improved Corporate Health and Wellness Performanceā€™ category. Lamprell introduced several reforms and innovations that improved overall wellness performance across the organisation, including conducting regular health checks, running various health and safety awareness campaigns as well as organising team-building activities and sports events.

Lamprell to Refurbish MOS Jackup Rig

Lamprell a leading provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas and renewable energy industries, has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US$ 64 million.by Millennium Offshore Services group (MOS) to convert its 'MOS Frontier' into an accommodation support vessel. The three-legged Type MLT116C jackup rig is a multi-purpose jackup unit capable of operating in water depths of 300 feet and it will be converted into an accommodation support vessel for the purpose of accommodating 290 personnel.
