New Asset Integrity Management System Launched

Bureau Veritas has launched Veristar AIM 3D asset integrity management system, based on technology partner Dassault Systems’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The new solution combines a digital twin of any marine or offshore assets with smart data in a collaborative environment. Veristar AIM 3D will be used in the design, development and implementation of the operational lifecycle, to reflect and predict the condition of any asset, or fleet of assets. The solution supports risk based inspection and condition based maintenance approaches.

CargoWise Appoints Owen Senior

CargoWise, a technology supplier for logistics service providers, has announced the appointment of Owen Senior as General Manager of Development.  Based in Sydney, Australia, Senior will lead all software development teams and has ultimate responsibility for the company’s global software development program and all technical project management activities. Senior brings a wealth of experience in developing high-quality enterprise software solutions and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) systems, which he will look to leverage in his new role. Senior has more than 15 years of global development experience having worked in CIO and Technical Director roles in the UK and Australia.

PortVision Appoints Perduto

PortVision has appointed James Perduto as Director of Transportation and Government Business Development. Based in N.Y., James assumes responsibility for business development for the company's enterprise software solutions and PortVision, a web-based platform that provides visibility and reporting for global commercial AIS vessel tracking activities. A veteran mariner and maritime transportation executive, James has had extensive business development experience in the maritime transportation industry. Most recently, James served as Vice-President of Sales for a maritime software solutions provider and prior to that, as Vice-President of North American Marketing and Customer Service for a large roll-on/roll-off steamship company. In addition, James has held leadership positions in the U.S.

Veson Welcomes Li, Elkin, Patel, Venkatesh
