Two Fast Supply Vessels Launched in Brazil

Two new UT4000 Monohull Fast Supply Vessels designed by Incat Crowther and built by ETP Engenharia Ltda have been launched. The new vessels, Baru Providencia and Baru Antares, are the third and fourth in a 12 vessel series, following on from Baru Gorgona and Baru Macura. According to Incat Crowther, the vessel designs have been optimized to comply with the UT4000 Fast Supply Vessel specification. Ships fuel is in excess of 40,000 liters, with a cargo fuel load of 90,000 liters. There is also capacity for 90,000 liters of cargo fresh water.

Baru Mucura, the second in a series of 12 UT4000 Monohull Fast Supply Vessels built by ETP Engenharia Ltda. in Brazil, has undergone launching and trials, Incat Crowther announced. The vessel’s earlier successor, Baru Gorgona, was the first delivery in the series. Incat Crowther said the vessel’s design has been optimized to comply with the UT4000 Fast Supply Vessel specification. Ships fuel is in excess of 40,000 liters, with a cargo fuel load of 90,000 liters. There is also capacity for 90,000 liters of cargo fresh water.

First of 12 UT4000 Crewboats Delivered

Incat Crowther announced the launch of Baru Gorgona, the first of a new series of 12 UT4000 Monohull Fast Supply Vessels to be built by ETP Engenharia Ltda. Additionally, Incat Crowther has signed a contract to supply the design of six further UT4000 FSVs to be built at Arpoador Engenharia Ltda. The vessel’s design has been optimized to comply with the UT4000 Fast Supply Vessel specification. Ships fuel is in excess of 40,000 liters, with a cargo fuel load of 90,000 liters. There is also capacity for 90,000 liters of cargo fresh water.

Incat to Build 12 UT4000 Fast Supply Vessels

The Brazilian petroleum industry continues to set new standard for fleet expansion. This is demonstrated by the building of 12 aluminum 7,200-hp fast supply vessels to a single order. They are being built at Estilaleiro ETP Engenharia Ltda. in Rio de Janeiro for two owners. Designed by Incat Crowther with their Lafayette, Louisiana office, the construction of these vessels is now well along with the first delivery expected for late 2013 with others to follow through 2014 and 2015. The 12 boats under construction in Brazil will be 48 by 9.5 meters with a molded depth of 4.25 meters.

Incat Crowther Awarded Design Contract for Fast Supply Vessels

Incat Crowther announced that it has been awarded a contract to design a fleet of 48 m monohull Fast Supply Vessels (FSVs). A total twelve of these vessels will be built by ETP Engenharia Ltda., which has also recently delivered a pair of Incat Crowther 36 m monohull crewboats meeting the Petrobras P2 vessel specification. Six of the new FSVs will be owned by Baru Offshore Navegação, which is a Brazilian subsidiary of Intertug S.A., and the other six FSVs will be owned by Senior Navegação.

Incat Crowther Launches 118-ft Monohull Crewboa

Incat Crowther announced the launch of the 118-ft Monohull Crewboat Siem Piata. The vessel was recently launched by ETP Engenharia Ltda in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, successfully completed sea trials and was delivered to Siem Consub for service to Petrobras. Developed primarily at Incat Crowther’s USA office in Morgan City Louisiana, Siem Piata will perform the role of a P2 crew boat in the Siem Consub fleet. The vessel is certified to Bureau Veritas and Brazilian Maritime standards. The main cabin contains seating for 60 passengers in large reclining seats, some at tables.

Incat Crowther announced construction of a 118 ft Monohull Crewboat for the Brazilian oil giant, Petrobras. This vessel is one of the first projects to take advantage of Incat Crowther’s new USA office. The vessel, under construction by ETP Engenharia Ltda in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil complies with the Petrobras specifications for the P2 type crew boat. The main cabin contains seating for 60 passengers in large reclining seats, some at tables. There are also generous luggage storage racks, a beverage counter and two toilets.
