Taiwan President Honors Evergreen Founder

Taiwan President Ma Ying-jeou honored Evergreen Group founder Dr. Chang Yung-Fa with a posthumous commendation in recognition of his contributions to international transportation and social welfare during the memorial service today. The company's North America headquarters are in Jersey City, N.J. Taiwan's Education Minister and the Minister of Transportation and Communications also offered homage to Dr. Chang with the First-Class Professional Education Medal and First-Class Professional Transportation Medal. Evergreen Group is holding the memorial services for Dr.

Evergreen Group Chairman Honored in Rotterdam

Evergreen Group Chairman Dr Y F Chang is honored in Rotterdam with Commander in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Rotterdam, The Netherlands (Aug. 22, 2011)-- Evergreen Group Chairman Dr. Chang Yung-Fa was presented the honor of Commander in the Order of Orange-Nassau in recognition of his contribution to the port of Rotterdam and the development of Dutch economy. The award was presented on behalf of Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard, the Queen Regnant of the Netherlands, by the Mayor of Rotterdam Ahmed Aboutaleb at a ceremony held in the Wereldmuseum and witnessed by many local dignitaries. Said Dr. Chang: "Evergreen has enjoyed a successful and professional relationship with the Netherlands for more than three decades.

Evergreen Social Responsibility Award

The Evergreen Group was honored with “The Corporate Social Responsibility Award” on September 8 at the presentation of the 2009 Lloyd’s List Global Awards. The award recognizes the leadership demonstrated by the Evergreen Group for its efforts aimed at safeguarding the environment. Evergreen provides disaster relief and other welfare programs through the Chang Yung-Fa Foundation and supports cultural promotion and educational initiatives through Evergreen Symphony Orchestra and Evergreen Maritime Museum.
