Exmar Orders Newbuild at Jiangnan

Exmar NV, a provider shipping and energy supply chain solutions worldwide, has ordered new carriers from China's Jiangnan Shipyard.The Belgian shipowner said in a press release that it  has entered into shipbuilding contracts with Jiangnan Shipyard for 2 LPG-fuelled 86,000 m³ gas carriers to transport LPG in an environment-friendly way.Both vessels are to be delivered ex yard respectively within the second and third quarter 2021 and will serve EXMAR’s long-term commitments towards Equinor ASA of Norway for worldwide LPG transportation as announced on 20th December 2017.EXMAR manages a diversified fleet including VLGC's, Midsize and small LPG carriers, LNG Regasification vessels and LNG carriers, FPSO's, Accommodation barges and an FSRU.

EXMAR Orders Second FLNG from Wison

EXMAR NV has placed an order for a second Floating LNG Liquefaction Unit (FLNG) at Wison Offshore & Marine. Under the agreement, Wison will be responsible for the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of the FLNG, which will be a self-contained barge with a liquefaction capacity of 0.6 MTPA and 20,000 m³ of LNG storage. The FLNG will be constructed at Wison’s shipyard in Nantong, China, where also the construction of the world’s first FLNG for EXMAR is nearing completion. EXMAR Commits to LPG with New Charters

EXMAR LPG has been awarded Statoil ASA’s time charter requirement for two environment-friendly 38,000 m³ (Midsize) LPG newbuildings intended for LPG trading within North West Europe. Both performing vessels are part of EXMAR LPG’s existing orderbook and are being built at Hanjin Subic Bay. Ecospeed to Coat EXMAR Caribbean FLNG

In order to tap into Colombian stranded gas reserves, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corporation and EXMAR nv have partnered in a project to build and operate a floating LNG liquefaction, and storage unit, the Caribbean FLNG, which will be stationed at a jetty several kilometers off the Caribbean coast of Colombia for at least 15 years. Exmar Submits SEC Proposal

Exmar NV announced that it expects to submit to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) the first draft registration statement for Exmar Energy Partners LP (the MLP). The initial public offering of the MLP's common units is expected to commence after the SEC completes its review process. Upon completion of the offering, the MLP is expected to own a 50% equity interest in joint ventures that own and operate four LNG regasification vessels (LNGRVs) and one LNG carrier. exmar.be

Wison Enters North American LNG Agreement

Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced  agreement with EDF Trading and Exmar NV to support their collective endeavors to pursue LNG export opportunities in North America using offshore, barge-mounted natural gas liquefaction facilities developed by Exmar, Wison and Black & Veatch. Under the agreement, Wison would be responsible for the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) services for the mobile, self-contained units that would be capable of tying in to existing pipeline, tank and jetty infrastructure to enable LNG export. These plants will utilize topside liquefaction equipment and packages designed by Black & Veatch using its proven PRICO single mixed refrigerant technology.

Exmar NV and Teekay LNG Partners Complete Joint-Venture

Exmar NV (NYSE Euronext: EXM) is pleased to announce that together with  Teekay LNG Partners L.P. (NYSE: TGP) they have successfully closed their 50/50 LPG joint-venture. The Exmar LPG BVBA joint-venture controls 15 owned Midsize Gas Carriers (MGC), out of which 4 are currently under construction at Hyundai Mipo, and one owned Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC). Exmar LPG BVBA also time-charters in three MGCs and two VLGCs (33.33% share) and bareboat-charters in one MGC and one VLGC. The joint venture has successfully secured financing  for its fleet (including the 4 newbuildings at Hyundai Mipo) under a USD 355 million facility, co-arranged by Nordea and DNB. The syndicated loan facility has been substantially oversubscribed and is expected to close before the end of the first quarter 2013.

Exmar Will Build Floating LNG Production Unit

Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp., acting through its wholly-owned subsidiary Pacific Stratus Energy Colombia Corp. (“PSE”), announced the signing of a natural gas/ LNG Liquefaction, Regasification, Storage and Loading Services Agreement with Belgium based EXMAR NV (“EXMAR”). The Agreement calls for EXMAR to build, operate and maintain a Floating Liquefaction Regasification & Storage Unit (“FLRSU”), to be located on the Colombian Caribbean coast. The Agreement grants PSE exclusive guaranteed rights to supply and liquefy up to 69.5 MMscf/d (+/- 0.5 million tons of LNG per annum) over a 15 year period, under a tolling structure. The FLRSU will have a storage capacity of 14,000 m3 of LNG and will be able to accommodate alongside a 140,000 m3 LNG Floating Storage Unit (“FSU”).

LPG Market Rebounds in 3Q: Exmar

EXMAR NV today gave its trading update for the 3Q 2011, numbers which show broad improvement in shipping rates and prospects. The operating result (EBIT) of the LPG fleet in the third quarter was $2.3 million (compared to $1.8 million for the third quarter of 2010), including 72 offhire days. EXMAR’s fleet continued to be supported by its contract portfolio during the third quarter. counterparties. Spot market conditions further strengthened as the Midsize vessels’ availability has been remarkably tight over the last months. Time Charter levels edged up on this basis. During the third quarter, EXMAR took over 4 BW Gas Midsize vessels and has therefore started to handle the North Sea Contracts of Affreightment, which is an addition to the EXMAR Midsize portfolio.

50% Stake in LNG Tanker Pair Sold

EXMAR NV and Teekay LNG Partners L.P. Teekay, NYSE: TGP) have reached an agreement in principle whereby Teekay will purchase a 50% interest in two of EXMAR’s LNG carriers: EXCELSIOR (2005-built LNGRV) and EXCALIBUR (2002-built conventional LNG) with an economic date of 1 September 2010. Both vessels are long-term time-chartered to Excelerate Energy. EXMAR will remain responsible for the management and operations of the vessels. The transaction is still subject to the completion of the loan and lease documentation currently in progress with the existing lenders. Signing of the agreements with Teekay and the lenders is expected to take place in about two weeks. The transaction will generate a profit of approximately $50 million.

Exmar, Excelerate Alliance for FLSO Solution

Exmar announced the formation of an alliance to advance its efforts in the development of floating liquefaction solutions. Exmar has formalized a relationship with its long-time LNG partner, Excelerate, and with Black & Veatch, a provider of natural gas processing and liquefaction technology. “This partnership forms a basis for the development of the first floating liquefaction, storage and offloading solution in the world" said Nicolas Saverys, Chief Executive Officer of Exmar NV. Daewoo Shipbuilding Gets Order From Exmar

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. has won a $270 million order to build a liquefied natural gas carrier and refit three other LNG carriers for Exmar N.V. of Belgium. According to reports, Daewoo will deliver the vessels by 2005. The vessels are capable of carrying 4.83 million cubic feet of liquefied natural gas each and will be chartered to Houston, Texas-based El Paso Global LNG.

EXMAR NV Offers Trading Update

During the 3rd quarter an operating result (EBIT) of $7.1m was recorded by the LPG fleet, $16.5m for the 3rd quarter 2006, including $4.0m non-recurrent items. The EBIT for the first nine months of the current year amounts to $21.5m, compared to $49.4m for the first nine months of 2006, including $14.0m non recurrent items. Although freights remained firm, the Midsize segment suffered from increased idle time. Firming Black Sea Ammonia prices versus ample stocks in USA left no room for Atlantic spot movements. Middle East product, however, became gradually competitive enough to support long-haul liftings both to the Far East and Europe. Whereas originally LPG activity was also at a low, Indian imports resumed, which supported increased employment by the end of the quarter.

Connaughton Signs Northeast Gateway Deepwater Port License

Sean T. Connaughton signed Excelerate Energy’s Northeast Gateway Energy Bridge Deepwater Port license today in Washington DC. Excelerate will build the Northeast Gateway deepwater port approximately 18 miles east of Boston, Massachusetts. Spectra Energy, formerly Duke Energy, will build a 16-mile subsea pipeline from its existing HubLine to the deepwater port site to transfer natural gas from the vessels into New England’s gas pipeline network. Excelerate Energy will construct and own the deepwater port, which will be operated by Skaugen Offshore and will accommodate Excelerate’s proprietary Energy Bridge Regasification Vessel (EBRV) fleet operated by Exmar NV. The port’s infrastructure will feature two submerged turret loading buoys supplied by Advanced Production and Loading.

Exmar To Raise Money to Buy Ships

EXMAR NV has instructed an investment banker to raise at least 5 % of the outstanding market capitalization through a private placement of shares. The funds will be used to finance new LPG, LNG and Offshore projects. The company will announce the results of the transaction after closing of the bookbuilding. The suspension of the EXMAR share has been requested. Trading of the shares will be resumed half an hour after publication of the results of the bookbuilding.
