Jackie Q. Carter to Serve as Director at Port Milwaukee

Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson has selected Jackie Q. Carter to serve as Municipal Port Director. In this position, Carter will direct commercial and recreational operations at Port Milwaukee, oversee a staff of twenty people, and administer Foreign Trade Zone No. 41. Finnlines Names Pippingsköld Deputy CEO

Finnish shipping company Finnlines has appointed Tom Pippingsköld as vice president and deputy CEO. In this new position Pippingsköld serves as the deputy to the president and CEO.Pippingsköld has been CFO of the ro-ro and passenger shipping operator since October 1, 2013. He will continue in his current position and is in charge of the group’s finance, administration, legal, human resources, communications and IT functions.Finnlines, part of the Italian-based Grimaldi Group, said Pippingsköld is a member of the executive committee and reports to the president and CEO, Emanuele Grimaldi.

Aker Finnyards Names New President

The Board of Aker Finnyards Oy has appointed Mr Jyrki Heinimaa as the new President of the Finnish shipbuilding company Aker Finnyards Oy. Heinimaa (38), LL.M., the present Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration, of the company has been employed by the company since 1996 attending first to the legal matters and since 1999 also for the financial administration. Heinimaa will for the present continue also as the CFO of the company. “I very much appreciate the honor to continue Yrjö Julin’s work at Aker Finnyards. DHS Approves NIMS

U. S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge announced approval of the National Incident Management System (NIMS), the Nation's first standardized management plan that creates a unified structure for Federal, state, and local lines of government for incident response. Safford Promoted To Exec. VP
