Chevron Names Ourada Corporate VP and Comptroller

Chevron Corporation today named Jeanette L. Ourada as their new corporate vice president and comptroller effective April 1. Ourada succeeds Matthew J. Foehr, who will retire after 33 years with the company. Ourada, 49, will oversee corporate-wide accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and internal controls. She will also lead Finance Shared Services, the organization she has led since July 2013. Since joining Chevron as part of the Unocal acquisition in 2005, Ourada has held a series of leadership roles within the finance organization. Before assuming her current role as the general manager of Finance Shared Services, Ourada served as assistant treasurer, operating company support and intercompany financing.

Chao, 2009 Horatio Alger Award Winner

The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans announced that James S.C. Chao will be presented with the 2009 Horatio Alger Award and inducted as a lifetime member of the association for his determination in achieving success despite his humble upbringing. Chao, chairman of Foremost Group in New York, will be officially inducted into the prestigious association on April 3rd in Washington, D.C. Recipients must have overcome humble beginnings or adversity to achieve success and serve as outstanding role models to the national community.

Morovich Joins Tidewater's Senior Management Team

Tidewater Inc. announced that Nancy Morovich has joined Tidewater as senior vice president. Morovich, who will report to Chairman, President and CEO Dean Taylor, will be responsible for strategic planning and analysis activities required to support the company's growth and business development initiatives, including potential mergers and acquisitions. She will also oversee Tidewater's information technology activities, and be involved in corporate compliance efforts. Morovich joins Tidewater following a 15 year career with Entergy Corporation where she held various positions in the finance organization. In her most recent position as Vice President, Planning and Financial Communications, she oversaw strategic planning, corporate planning and investor relations activities.

NASSCO Appoints Three New Vice Presidents

National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) has appointed new Vice Presidents of Human Resources, Finance and Production Outfitting. NASSCO is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD). Donald H. Dame has been named Vice President – Human Resources ; he will report to Harris. Dame has over 30 years of human resources business experience. For the last seven years, he has been Vice President of Human Resources and Government Relations for Freeman Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, headquartered in Springfield, Ill. Dame holds a degree in Mining Technology from Rend Lake College in Ina, Ill. and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Education from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
