Electric Boat Awarded Contract Modification

Electric Boat, Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $10,991,000 modification (P00038) to previously awarded contract (N00140-02-C-K009) for intermediate and depot level overhaul, repair and modernization services for Naval Submarine Support Facility New London, Groton, Conn. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn., and work is expected to be completed by August 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Division, is the contracting activity.

CSC Wins $20.5M Navy Contract

Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $20,595,223 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for information technology services for the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). This contract includes options that, if exercised, bring the total estimated value of the contract to $90,727,730. Work will be performed in Pensacola, Fla. (61 percent); Great Lakes, Ill. George G. Sharp Wins Contract

George G. Sharp Inc., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $12,170,065 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operation and maintenance of the NAVSEA Inactive Ships On-Site Maintenance Office (NISMO) in Philadelphia Pa. This contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year options, which if exercised, bring the total estimated contract value to $52,277,547. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (85 percent); Norfolk, Va. (7.5 percent); and Newport, R. I (7.5 percent), and work is expected to be completed by September 2006.
